To answer the age-old fan question of whether you root for the team that knocked your team out, so you can cry yourself to sleep with the rationalization that at least your team lost to the best team, or root against them, I say good riddance Hurricanes.
It's too bad the Rangers weren't in position to make an offer for Tkachuk. I knew we were going to hate seeing him on the Panthers.

He's got one less misconduct than the Panthers have goals in the series. My gut says Florida wins tomorrow and Vegas wins games 4 and 5. They're too good, too deep and Bob has lost whatever magic he had in the previous 3 rounds. Hoping we get to 5 so I can witness Vegas win the Cup in person. I saw the Caps do it a few years ago
No sweep... I always thought Florida would win tonight so now I need to keep my fingers crossed they win on Saturday and maybe we'll see some history
Boston Bruins 2.0 are on the cusp of a Stanley Cup. Cassidy has brought the same system to Vegas that he used in Boston and it has payed huge dividends. I was rooting for Florida but Vegas just keeps rolling out 4 lines that put a ton of pressure on Floridas defense. I don’t see Florida pulling off a miracle, they had a great playoff run for a bottom seeded team.

Vegas does it and in style... most goals in team history, most goals in a closeout game and a Mark Stone hat trick
It was pretty obvious after Vegas put 4 on Brobovsky in game one this would be a short series, but it was incredible to see them skate the Panthers into submission last night. They had no fight left in them.
