How many other friends does Rodgers have? Seriously though, if signing Hackett, Cobb, Lazard, Turner, and any other of Rodgers' friends makes him happy and comfortable, I say do it.

Rodgers demanded in 2019 that the Packers trade for Cobb. Now we sign him when we don't need him. Hopefully its for less than 2 mllion.
I think Davis is gone... that 10.5 could be huge. Would have been nice if they had been able to move him before the draft but cutting him gives the team some flexibility should other moves need to be made.
We didn’t “need” Cobb but he is sadly an upgrade from what we had in the slot, especially when splitting time there with Hardman.

Im telling myself it's different last time. The last three guys were guys we drafted... Sanchez, Sam, Zach. So they were destined to fail no matter what. Rodgers is already an established brand.
If i were Davis or Lawson I'd be a bit nervous. We may be in one of the positions that we're not used to as Jets fans: players might actually want to join the team at a bit of a discount to win and contend. We've become used to players like L.Bell raking us over the coals when they had us by the short hairs.
I agree but I think it ultimately comes down to if the Jets want to make anymore moves this offseason. If they are still in the market for a DT, FS, LB, etc. then I also think Davis is gone but I wouldn't expect his release until someone else puts pen to paper and officially signs with us.
Say what you will about Cobb but he probably makes that catch in the EZ against the Vikings last year.
Cobb knows what Rodgers likes. I think he'll be a sort of coach/mentor on field getting the younger players in sync with the QB.
