It's just lottery at this point. The Jets are trying to get more tickets.

 

Fitting that we draft a player that nobody ever heard of with the Pats pick.

 

I’m rooting for a WR and K with the last two picks

 

these are lottery tickets, special teams guys, etc.

once in a blue moon you get lucky with one of these and we've taken some decent guys like Echols and such in these late rounds, but mostly I think this is special teams territory

 

9.12 Ras score with “elite speed” is all I know about him after minutes of research.

 

I’m always rooting for K. Good K can take you places…. If you have some good C and some good K, it serves a purpose as well….

 

Might as well draft the best one available with the last pick, keep us from competing for him in UDFA

 

Perhaps the Jets are looking at the late round picks exclusively for special teams.

I know later rounds and all but tyreke hill was a 5th and Tom Brady a 6th so sometimes you can get extremely lucky

I agree in general but Tyreek Hill is a terrible example. Dude would've been selected much higher if he didn't throw his pregnant gf down a flight of stairs lol. Jussssaying
