Yeah Ar is our Savior obviously just like Brett Favre. Mark Sanchez, Darnold, and Zack Wilson were. Fans were sure we would win superbowls with them to. When was the last time any team traded even a 1st for a 40 year old? Please refresh my memory.
Yeah, a couple of decent guys that slid at the position of need gone right before out pick. Not great.
The Jets just selected OT Carter Warren https://www.nfl.com/prospects/carter-warren/32005741-5258-0333-38bb-413be1b8a9fd
yah watching ESPN they're saying he missed most of last season and can use a year of development but smooth mover and long arms ... depth for now, possible starter next year is how they're looking at it but yeah, we need bodies at tackle for sure
Good developmental OT prospect. I like it. Better in pass-pro than as a run-blocker as of now but has good hand placement and 35”+ arms. Lot to like about him as a prospect.
round 4 on down are the maybe make in the nFl group But more picks mean more change to win the lottery..maybe
My theory on 4th rounders and later. You can take a guy that’s pegged as 4th round talent and probably do alright, or you can take a risk on a guy who dropped to the 4th due to mitigating factors, ie injuries or character concerns. In the case of the latter you get the potential of stealing a player who’s value is much higher than draft position, but in the other hand those concerns are concerns for a reason. It sounds like JD got a guy with more talent than the round he was drafted in would indicate, so let’s hope his risk pays off and we got ourselves a guy who can step in and play day one.
Here what I can see about Warren. Old (24), sucks at defending the run, not super athletic, was injured for most of the year. But good character, captain, and pretty good at pass pro. I think if shit hits the fan he was drafted to make sure Rodgers doesn't get killed. https://www.si.com/college/pittsbur...rs-carter-warren-suffers-season-ending-injury
