When all is said and done, I just want the team to be improved enough to contend for a SB. Personally, I don't trust that the OL can be counted on to make that possible, and more importantly, ensure that Rodgers will be protected. But I don't know as much as Douglas, Saleh & Co. Maybe they're convinced that the current OL - IF healthy - is good enough. I hope they're right.
Lots of iffy picks going on before us in the early 2nd. I'd hope for real value at 43 but we'll probably get an incomprehensible pick there just because.
shitty part is he didn't have knee issues. not like it gave out when he was running or anything. he has recovery issues. he was fine until he got rolled up on which happens and it's bad luck and not a player issue. the difference is most are back by the following season. he's missed 2.5 years with his which is insane. mayve if GVR wasn't such ass becton would have never gotten hurt
Yeah you do you can throw darts at a dart board and do better than 20-46 over 4 years. These people are no geniouses like Jets fans make them out to be, they are more incompetent than just about any front office in the league.
Yeah and literally the worst draft in 2021 and probally this year, like I said you can flip a coin and be 50% right.
So this is hard to grasp but it is definitely true. The point of NFL competition is not to win the draft. It is to win games. It's easy to win the draft several years in a row and not win games off of that fact. The Detroit Lions did this when they drafted Ndamakung Suh, Calvin Johnson and Matthew Stafford in a sequence of 4 drafts. They did this because they kept getting high picks and they'd take the logical suspect that everybody agreed upon but it didn't matter because they were winning the draft not winning games in the regular season and never sniffing the playoffs.
