Well, so far looks like firing MILF and getting Hackett worked out in a pretty amazing way...

Easy to say when a single offensive play has yet to be called.

Come on now, Arod just cited Hack as a perhaps the biggest reason why he is here. At this point he doesn't even need to call an offensive play to know this was a slam dunk move.

Lord Favre was drawing plays on his fucking hand in the huddle and the Jets were winning games. I think Rodgers can make adjustments necessary, and I'm pretty sure Hackett will give him the freedom.

I'll share this here too, Hackett looks like a amped up excited hardcore dude with that goatee. Nothing like how he was as a head coach. It's like he is being himself here

Exactly, until he got hurt. Rodgers is superior to Favre period.

Little off topic but I didn't want to create a new thread for this. Are we keeping Corey Davis?

I thought he was getting traded for DeAndre Hopkins?

Yup…I wasn’t on board with Hackett but realized this was why we did it, and so long as Rodgers is here with him I’m fine with it…coaches can make players look good but that also works the other way as well…Peyton made Gase look good for chrissakes…

Yoooo. I was just reading about Monken and remember this exchange. I never got back to give you kudos - good call. I’m shocked he didn’t go take over a Georgia Tech or something like that. He must like his life outside football.

So maybe I was getting a little ahead of myself here when I assumed there would be some fun in this deal. It may be another decade before this fucknut franchise makes the playoffs and it will only be like a participation award at that point because they will expand it too much.

The combination of Rodgers and Hackett has resulted in 6 quarters of fun.

Hackett still has a job somehow. His contributions made Saleh and Douglas look brilliant by comparison.

Woody, if you're reading this, he better be crying on a plane by noon tomorrow.
