Regardless of what Tiki or anyone says we are involved with a players who's not a lock for any scenario that favors the Jets and a team that doesn't have a traditional owner that Woody can talk to. If Rodgers is not wearing green-&-white by 8:30 or so next Friday then major concern should set in. I do however think the deal will get done and we will overpay (more than a second this and next year). Gotta wonder though what is the Jets Plan B if it doesn't happen. Do they call Tennessee about Tannerhill? Just a terrible way of doing a deal right from the start.
Awful lot of opinion batted about without any facts. I wouldn't waste ten seconds of my time worrying about anything Tiki thinks or for that matter most all the guys in the media have to say at this stage. The whole idea of a 49rs deal with zero cap space to maneuver, in a division that GB does not want to trade with, with less draft ammunition than the Jets, is about as absurd as the latest unfounded Indianapolis rumor. Talking media heads, show me some beef for a change. This is what happens when both GMs are completely tight lipped on the move and have not fed the media trolls. Do you want to overpay for Rodgers or Tannehill? If the Rodgers deal goes south and Tannehill is one of the only options left for the Jets, do you think TN is going to give him away? Think Bradford to MN when Bridgewater tore his knee up. Especially since they can use him still. Jets are going to have bend over in order to get him I don't think the Jets should trade for AR. I don't think he will get them to the SB. Keep your draft capital, start Wilson. Have a crappy season and a top 5 pick next year.
