I 100% believe he did it. But I’m shocked they came to that verdict so quickly with no hard evidence.

I was worried that the case being tried right in his back yard may work in his favor, but maybe after all the families he’s screwed, all the stuff his kids got away with, it worked the opposite. I am very surprised they came to a verdict so quick, I thought it would have dragged out.

So, they now believe that Stephen smith was a homicide… changed from an accident in 2015. Without having looked at the body again. That’s weird .

They exhumed his body about a week ago under a judicial order.

My take on all of this is that the Murdaugh's deeply offended somebody a generation or two ago when they ran the country prosecutor's office as a hereditary fiefdom. Alex Murdaugh's financial indiscretions opened him and his family up to the assault and now whoever is spearheading it is trying to take down his last kid.

We forget that his wife and son were widely hated in the community after the boating accident that killed the teenage girl. There were other people in the community that had motive to kill them but the prosecution of Murdaugh had it's own rolling momentum.

I can’t find where it has been exhumed, only that it will be.
If it hasn’t, that’s pretty ominous that they could switch it to a homicide , without seeing it. I would love to see what’s in store for those who ruled it an accident too.
I still think he either killed them, or had them killed(wife and son). The evening trip to the kennels. And his timing are telling imo.

They didn’t investigate it as a crime the first time around or even consider it. Probably because there was a Murdaugh link and they just swept it away real quick.

I wonder what anyone’s reason for killing that kid was? It’s clear his body was dumped there. Maybe he was a lover of someone who didn’t want anyone to know?

Definitely. It’s really amazing the hold that family had on that area. It’s also amazing , if it was a Murdagh involved in smiths death, how quickly their hold crumbled. If it was swept under the rug quickly, I imagine some law enforcement etc will be called out too.

The Idaho case has been quiet , outside of the upcoming demo of the house , maybe even before the trial.

It’s been said a few times that the authorities had Brian as their guy as early as 11/30. This would also mean they k ow the exact car he drives. Why then put out a bolo on an earlier model of the same car nearly 2 weeks later? Strange

One article claims a rape kit was administered as part of Smith's autopsy. While I certainly won't vouch for the source it names and quotes a deputy who was part of the initial investigation.

Possibility that the Idaho case may get even more crazy… apparently there is a probe into one of the cops.

The Idaho case needs more solid evidence against Kohberger. Either that or we're going to be treated to the spectacle of the case being dropped at the preliminary hearing in a couple of months after Kohberger has spent 6 months in prison.

On the probe in law enforcement there: as soon as it became clear that this was a drug house the possibilities became crazy. The public defender assigned to him has handled drug offenses in the past and you always worry about public corruption in law enforcement in this kind of situation.

Odds are he is guilty but damn if there isn't an enormous cloud obfuscating the scene.

My condolesces to Republicans on TGG from an old school Republican

Donald J Trump has been indicted in NY and faces criminal charges from alleged payoffs to Porn Star and Playboy Model

They have not revealed said charges as yet but supposed to be a Felony..Historic ! First ex US President charged .

Coming from a family of Lawyers and Judges there is an old saying "you can indict a ham sandwich!" ...proving a case leading to a conviction? Well thats something else

Whats the other saying ? "no one above the law"

You have to be a major crook to get indicted after serving in the Presidency. There are lots of other indictments coming in other areas.

Please don’t shit up the thread with that asshole, and those obsessed with him.

Edit/ maybe the mods would allow a politics thread( not forum)? Now that the a certain antagonist isn’t around, things are usually pretty cool and level.

Talk about an early Christmas present for that asshole. His idiot followers won’t care if he’s convicted, if he beats the rap he’s Superman and he gets all the publicity necessary to keep raising money. What a fucking travesty.
