I think a lot of the pause right now in any free agent signings is that they have to see where the chips may fall with Rodgers and his contract. It’s not that they can’t get creative with his money but they can’t go spending money they need before they know what they’re going to have available.

Have a feeling Kwon isn’t coming back unless his market once again doesn’t materialize. He played well enough that he should be able to get a better contract than we can probably give him but if not then yeah he’d be great to have back

The jets trade of Moore today makes me think the jets offered that 3rd rounder (and other compensation to the Pack), and Green Bay laughed and said call back when it is AT LEAST a 2023 second round pick (and probably more)

I like it. Have to imagine it's on a cheap deal and keeps a good depth piece for the RB room for another year.

meh. Definition of JAG. As long as Hall and Carter stay healthy we’re fine but as soon as he’s forced to play meaningful snaps, we’re in trouble.

I don’t know…he looked more explosive than MC last year…but yeah overall he’s a good backup RB…not so much a frontline starter

I remember him most for dropping three straight passes to start a game and then being put on the inactive list.

The day he got cut I said he would be a fantastic complement as a downhill runner but would depend on the price. Still feel the same way. I would assume that the timing of us signing Tyler Johnson means we are out on Zeke.

I guess for the right price I would consider anyone.
Question is, what is the current right price for Zeke?
He was looking a little washed up last year.

I don’t care what the actual number is, as long as he counts $5 million or less against the books then I’m fine with it. He definitely looked washed up last season but he is a great pass blocker and he would be the very clear-cut second guy in the rotation. Dallas tried to make it too much of an even split and You see how that worked out.

Plus with Breece coming back from his ACL, might be nice to have a solid downhill thumper while he gets back up to full speed. I could definitely see the Jets using Zeke like the Lions used Jamaal WIlliams last season, goal-line/short yardage/pass pro situations even once Breece is fully back.

I'm with you, for the right price, I'd be fine with adding Zeke.

Totally agree. If the price is right I see no actual football downside to this move. The one thing I will say is that we are committing even more to a one year window. Not that Michael Carter is a game changer but you have to assume that he also asks out. That would be two young skill position players that have talent that we get rid of to make a one year run. Far from selling the farm but just something to keep an eye on.
