His biggest mistake is still on the team.

Just a bit misleading considering one had Mahomes and the other had, well you know …

He’s a 5 8 receiver who can’t play outside. I loved the pick when it happened — thought he was going to be better than he was but he hasn’t proven anything since he’s come into the league. Moore cannot play on the outside and having the slot as a flexible spot is big. Playing GW inside/outside, kicking Lazard in to crack down in the run game and block is also big. Lazard also played like 40% of his snaps from the slot last year.

You cannot sit here and blame the QB for the lack of results when GW just went on to win OROY. At best what is he? Brandon cooks?

It is hard to feel good about. It felt like he could be developed

I usually take stats provided by a Jets employee with a grain of salt.

Kind of like Eric Allen. Has he actually provided anything of value in a decade? Freaking mouthpiece.

I didn't read through the entire thread but are people actually thinking of Hardman as Moores replacement? Hardman seems to be more of a Berrios / KR / PR replacement than Elijah Moore. Didn't even think that was up for debate tbh

Good riddance. They could have traded him away for a bag of footballs and a ham sandwich I'd have been OK with it.

True but he can also produce even with limited snaps as he has shown. So I don’t think losing him is huge, especially if they are still considering OBJ even tho I don’t like it. Davis should be gone as he is a similar player to Lazard.

No good reason to trade Moore…except if you need picks for the Rodgers trade.

Hardman is replacing Berrios, if anything OBJ might replace Moore.Comparison is silly
I see it as a good value move for a guy that did not elevate his game as expected. And wanted to be traded. Why is that spite?

No one will care about Elijah Moore when Rogers is throwing strikes to Hardman G Wilson Allan Lazard and maybe Odell Beckham...my goodness thats playoff level talent my friends...I am never optimistic but its all materializing and I will HAVE to be ahahaha

If the Jets cant beat the best with this line up the Jets are not worth and iota of anyones time

I mean yeah, it’s true, but we’ve also had this as an organizational issue since we drafted Wilkerson that’s compounded to be even worse because as a whole we’re a terrible drafting franchise.

You build a team by drafting players that turn out to be good and develop them in your systems to ultimately retain them. Not constantly making mistakes, trading away and plugging the gaps with low cost second contract free agents that have a short shelf life.

Nothing is more obvious than what we’ve done at center since Mangold retired.

JMS at 42 or 43 baby. Let's get that Mangoldesque player we have been drying for.
