Aaron Rodgers Watch - Clock Ticking

The compensation has already been agreed upon. Otherwise there's no way the Jets brass would have flown out to California to talk to Aaron rodgers.

Being reported this morning that the Jets crew is flying back today.

Thought they came back earlier this morning?

 

The lunatics on Twitter tracked the plane and it landed this morning. I’d assume “today” means this morning.

 

I saw people posting that they landed this morning. Maybe not everyone left. This is more exciting than the last 6 weeks of the season.

 

Most likely, the Jets/GB side of this is done already. I can't envision a scenario where GB allowed this meeting without some sort of agreement in place on compensation.

 

This is honestly my biggest fear too. The closer the trade compensation gets to what was originally reported (2 1sts), the less I love the trade.

Honestly, if it's close at all in terms of trade comp, why not just go after Lamar? I know it's risky for a lot of reasons but if I'm giving up 2 1's, I'd rather go for the 26 year old former MVP than a 39 year old former 4-time MVP.

 

The Jets just restructured CJ Uzomah's deal saving $3.5 million in cap space.

The airplane that took them to California flew to Westchester overnight; that doesn't mean that anyone who flew on it to California was on it coming back east. The plane has made about twenty flights in the past week, only two of which coincide with anything identified as being in the interest of the Jets, a flight from Morristown to Camarillo California and a short hop an hour later from there to Los Angeles. It's kind of like an AirUber.

 

Sun's coming up on the west coast.... Woody's out of blow and stumbling out of a strip club on the strip...
