While some of the QBs are intriguing in this years draft, but the Jets cannot ill-afford to do that. Let them develop and continue to build for the future by getting more defense (up the middle), develop some OLs and couple of offensive weapons. Then we can hopefully get a vet QB whoever that is, to get them over .500. JD is patiently building bricks maybe not at a rapid pace as we would like. If AR comes so be it. If it’s JG so be it. But I rather the Jets build some balance and depth across the board.
And that's because Woody is an idiot and is clueless about football. He's proven year after year that his team doesn't know how to win.
Who cares about Carr. He’s a warm weather dome QB, west coast type. It would have been a tough adjustment. If JD signs/drafts OL properly in 2023, and as long as Zach is not playing we’re winning alot of games.
I wouldn’t mind drafting a guy again and moving ZW for whatever we can. No need to trade up to 1. We can just watch how the board falls and work off it
The Bears and Texans wouldn't even take the phone call. We wouldn't have enough draft capital compared to other teams, and seriously we need to continue to build our O line.. Perhaps when we made the Jamal Adams trade, but we don't have enough pieces to get to the top 2. Now from a personal standpoint just a flat out no. We have a team that can compete now with some of our main guys on the cheap. We've clearly shown we can't get it right drafting in the top 5 for QB's over the past few drafts. Take a swing on a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round if needed, but let's get a Rodgers in here and try to do this in the next 2 years, and worry about a young QB after.
