Tough to say, they needed cap space regardless. It is also good to retain possibly your best skill position player when starting a new QB as well. I can't imagine this effects anything one way or another.
IMO you can’t make a snide comment about ZW being the only QB when I reply to a post where YOU bring up Bekki. I’m all for snide comments but I’m not a fan of changing a convo to make a point. IMO, the Jets will offer fair trade value. We had a similar offer to Miami’s for Hill so I don’t see JD overpaying. For me, the most I’d give up would be conditional 2024 and 2025 picks that could each be 1st rounders. But IMHO, I think Rodgers is the one who decides what his trade value is. He holds the cards. @tomdeb I think a fair trade would be a 2024 conditional 1st. SB appearance is a 1st.playoffs is a 2nd and missing the playoffs is like a 7th
I read earlier that even if Rodgers returned they'd start Jordan Love. It sounds like its getting ugly.
We all knew these talks were gonna be painful, little did we know they would end up root canal without the novocaine level painful
Not following the Rodgers shenanigans as closely as I probably should... But what other team would be a likely landing spot for Aaron?
Great point. I can see him going to chicago as a fuck you but other than that we are the team that gives him the chance to win. I don't see many landing spots for him. Carr has more options than rodgers at this point.
That’s not going to work. It’s a long way down from Carr and Rodgers to Garoppolo and Tannehill, if you play that game and Carr signs elsewhere that brings the price right back up on Rodgers. If that IS their plan, that’s a severely dangerous game to be playing.
