Vegas is on board with the Jets acquiring Rodgers. Since the news broke today about Hackett's hiring as OC the Jets are clear favorites to land the two-time MVP QB.

Packers have already said if they deal Rodgers it would be out of the NFC.

Via SportsLine oddsmakers: If Aaron Rodgers is traded to the AFC, which team will acquire him?

    • Jets -250
    • Titans +600
    • Colts +1000
    • Raiders +1300
    • Patriots +1500

Does Rodgers really want to join Team J&J? Maybe he doesn’t care?

That’s probably where I draw the line and just switch to an evergreen “BroadwayChad” or something.

    Please turn an ankle

would never root for an athlete to get hurt but in this instance it would help him financially. And fuck the Raiders

I'm pretty sure he would have to sustain a significant injury that would prevent him from playing in 2023.

The timing of all this reeks of “Jacoby Brissett to the Jets” in March.

Can someone break down exactly why Carr and the Raiders are parting ways?

I was just watching the end of Super Bowl LIV on NFL Network, and I don't think the Jets' best chance to defeat Mahomes and Chiefs is Jimmy G at QB and Robert Saleh leading the defense.........:D

I want ARod but I can see a scenario where the Titans and Packers trade QBs.

The Titans hired a new GM who probably wants to make a splash. AR has a home in Tenn. They have an older roster which AR seems to want and a solid OLGB would get an affordable insurance policy if Love underperforms and an Uber cheap backup in 2024 if Love performs well.

Throw in a pick swap 11 for 15 or 41 for 45 and it makes too much sense.

I don’t think Carr has shown he can carry a team but we don’t need one to. If I’m JD that’s my first move if the Raiders cut him. Offer 3 years for $135MM. $70MM guaranteed. Give the contract an out in 2025 as JDs comes to an end so Woody can start fresh if things don’t work out.

Hopefully Carr doesn’t pick the Texans. His brother obviously has ties to the organization and the new HC. They have a solid OLine, Metchie should make his debut this year and signing Carr would allow them to use their top picks to bring in some beasts on the defensive side of the ball. Get someone who the fans would love like Anderson at 2 and a top CB with their second pick to pair with Stingley and Pitre in their secondary. I think the Texans get real good real quick if they land Carr.

Given the above is a worst case scenario, I feel like it might play out like that…. If that happens, I’m thinking we end up overpaying for Jimmy G

Tannehill would be fine for this team. Jets would need to start thinking about drafting a developmental guy if they signed Tannehill for the early window. Somebody else would have to handle the late window, much as Chad followed Vinny.
