Good timing. I am looking at getting a new coffee pot. We have a Nespresso and a Keurig and I find K-cups to be nasty. The Nespresso pods are much better but limited varieties and expensive. Previously was getting Dunkin every morning but it’s too damn expensive. Anyone have any suggestions? I was looking at one of the Ninja one’s.
I like earl grey, english breakfast, irish breakfast, oolong, Darjeeling, and a lot of types of green
If you want to start exploring the bean, I would go with the Hamilton Beach units. They do both K-cups and Brew. The unit doesn't take up too much counter space and is extremely easy to use and clean.
You don't like your Nespresso? I got one for Christmas and I love it. My Keurig went into the closet. I think their coffee is amazing. I went from light cream and Splenda to black. I find the coffee is so good I don't want to put anything in it. I only drink 1 cup in the morning so I don't find it very costly. Sometimes I'll do an espresso in the afternoon. But that's it. From people that I've talked to, the best and most cost effective coffee comes from those expensive machines that do everything, including the grind. Once you get over the initial purchase price of the machine, you will save money in the long run.
My son has a Nespresso but he grinds his own beans and buys 100 packs of aluminum lids for the pods. Get the fresh ground coffee but the convenience of the Nespresso.
Bunch o' fancy guys.... I usually just get whatever decent brand of coffee is on sale at the grocery store
Come on. Even with grocery store coffee, you have to have a preference! I like the Donut Blend from Chock Full O' Nuts, myself.
