Coffee, like many things in life, is a matter of personal preference. What is included in your ideal cup of coffee? Personally, I am a fan of the old-school stove-top percolator pot. The flavor is rich, but most importantly, it is scalding hot, which is how I like my coffee. I usually go for two teaspoons of sugar, and whole milk. Big fan of Pete's coffee. Their Holiday Blend is a staple for Christmas time.
About a year or so ago, I started grinding my own coffee from beans. I found the taste far superior to K-cups along with the variety. I'm a huge fan of Costa Rican coffee. I also enjoy Tim Horton's beans as well. I usually grind my beans medium coarse. Too fine and you're better off making cappuccino. I joined a coffee club awhile ago and now I get beans from quite a few exotic places.
Pretty much the 21st century version of a drip pot. Coffee filter, etc. Usually I make a full pot and can manage 10-12 cups reheating as I need them. Hamilton Beach makes a great unit for this. Brew or K-cup as it does both.
Once you start grinding your own you never go back I love Tim Ho's as well, I did some research and found out it is primarily guatemalan coffee. So now you can save money by buying coffee from that region and still get the same taste. OR if there is a Trader Joe's near you, you should try their Columbian Supremo whole bean. IMO it is the best
I tried Cometeer coffee for awhile https://cometeer.com/ my wife found their ads on tiktok and I was influenced. Its weird they mail you frozen coffee pods and you just pour it in a glass with hot water and mix it up instantly. I was enticed by their partnerships with coffee shops all over the US, so it was cool to try that but at the end of the day it makes a weak, weird tasting coffee IMO and not worth it
I drink my coffee black... unless it's on ice... then I add a dollop of half&half. Pete's is good... I usually go for Seattle's Best Dark Roast... because it's good and a bit less expensive than Pete's.
