Holy shit, Brady? What the hell?! I'd rather shit in my hands and clap that see Brady in a Jets uniform.
If Miami isn't fully committed to Tua I could see Brady staying in Florida. He did buy a mansion there, and while Giselle may have possession of that, I imagine his kids are there and he could easily find another mansion nearby. I'd take Brady under the right deal, something where if he gets hurt or quits before the end of his contract we aren't left holding a huge CAP hit, but I'd prefer Rodgers/Hackett since they worked together before in GB, and Zach could learn the best from that combo.
I really don’t want Hackett. I swear I heard he didn’t call plays in Green Bay but he did last season in Denver and oh boy do I not want to see that in New York next year
He was also handling HCing duties in Denver for the first time. Obviously he was in over his head. That's why I'm done with hiring first timers as HC, OC, DC, QB, OLC/ Let someone else provide the OJT for a change. He's not necessarily my first choice as OC, but if we get Arod here who he did work with successfully, then he becomes the front runner for me.
He’s what, 47/48 now? His arm looked trashed all season. The Bucs were on a lot of National games, did none of you watch him? He’s done
Brady at 46 on the Jets is a sick joke. He's done. He'd do it to fuck us one last time, steal another year and take millions while laughing his way to the bank. I'd rather see Coslet/Esiason back here than Brady in green. I want Derek Carr and Frank Reich. Let's go!
Reich and Carr or Rodgers. But the moment you say the word "Zach" to a good OC candidate, they're going to walk out the door. They'll coach him if he's on the team and try to get the most out of him, but if the Jets are still committed enough to Zach to be talking about schemes for him in interviews, the OC is going to see that as a huge red flag.
Why does everyone assume grooming Zach is the part of the gig that every OC will walk away from? These guys are all egomaniacs, every one of them, I guarantee you, thinks they can be the one who turns him around (as long as he’s not the starter this year)
