Woody completely sucks and firing the offensive coordinator when your GM handpicked the next Ryan Leaf / Jamarshmellow Russell is just plain stupid

why would anyone give credit to woody for that? Such a dumb thread

Bullshit.. This Is status quo for Woody. Meddle In football business. Fire at least someone after a year or two.

Patience would be actually trusting the plan and remaining firm behind It, allowing It to manifest Into what It will be. Instead of being a little fucking weasel and insisting that someone pay on offense to please the fans. I think you got It backwards. Where has this fucking clown shoe showed patience??? Seriously?

For how many seasons is anyone supposed to be "trusting a plan" while not a sign is there to indicate it will be successful? At least three, right? Maybe six? How about ten? When is oversight not called meddling? What would it take for you to say enough is enough - the owner has to make changes now? Or is it easier for you to sit there wishing and hoping that the status quo will eventually turn into another Superbowl win?

Are you kidding me? Macagnan was the worst GM this team has had and he got 5 years to be a bad GM.

Rex Ryan got the benefit of the doubt because of the 2 playoff runs and sucked for 4 years before woody fired him.

The Bills moved on from Rex after two years of drama and sucking, hired an inexperienced McDermott and look how good that worked out for them.

Todd Bowles had a good season and 3 terrible ones, yet again he should have been fired a year earlier than he was. Yet he was given a 4th year to at least turn it around.

I know you are mad about Lafleur but Woody didn’t fire the whole staff, it was 1 guy. The offense should not implode and a playoff hopeful team should not lose six in a row because of 2 players that are not the QB. An experienced CS gets team to playoffs.

Do you want a repeat of Jeff Fisher for Jets?

This CS is getting another season to improve the offense, that’s being patient.

You have a point that I’m concerned about, I don’t care if he meddles with staff, it’s the draft picks I’m worried about.

Is he giving JD authority to trade away everything and mortgage the future for Lamar? I still believe they should keep their draft picks and draft a QB they can develop.

That's called economics. That doesn't have anything to do with being a bad owner. Every single owner in the league has done very same thing. So nice try but no dice....

Charging more for an inferior product has nothing to do with ownership?

Nice try Woody but no dice.

You’re on a forum for one of the worst franchises in sports over the past decade and you’re calling people out for not giving the shitty owner praise for doing 1 thing that appears to be a good decision.

Nice try Woodys ball warmer but no dice.

Ravens fans are bitching about 2 playoff wins in 10 years after their Super Bowl win and you post this trash.

Hess made mistakes, but he also hired Tuna and gave the Hoodie some bonus $ to keep him around.

Funny how both those guys took off as soon as Woody bought the team......somebody must have tipped them off.

Hess built and ran a very successful oil company before buying the team.

Woody inherited money from family and didn't do much of anything at J&J.

what credit? The Jets are the laughing stock of the league, he kept Saleh when Sean Payton is available what fuckn credit? This orginization is a joke and is not credible, and that starts with ownership, next year we will be cursing again how this team sucks when we expected playoffs and thats because Woody Johnson fuckn sucks. He is keeping Zacky around because he knows his family, don't be suprised if Zacky is the opening day starting Qb for the New York Jets next year, Fuck Woody.
