I wonder if we are about to see the first rookie QB make a Super Bowl.... Its the one thing I have always wanted to see. Sanchez was the last one to even get close I believe.
Anybody expecting Geno Smith to replicate this year deserves to get burned. Plenty of mediocre QBs play in the NFL for a decade or more and it's not difficult to have 1 or 2 "great" years. Ryan Fitzpatrick did it for 3 teams and he was NEVER "the answer" at QB. Maybe he's wised up after a decade playing in the NFL, but I wouldn't bet Big $$$ on it. At best, on a good team ex-QB like the 2022 Jets, he won't hold you back but I don't think he's a guy who can win it for you if you don't have a good defense and lots of offensive weapons.
