Most are him speaking of himself as a wondrous, all-seeing talent evaluator (amazing that no team employs such a scouting savant). Today's post is especially fascinating, as he guarantees a Jets Super Bowl victory next season, if the Jets would follow his plan. I especially 'like' one of his first proposals... I especially like this: "LaFleur is where football is headed. " The last time we heard that about a HC we ended up with probably the worst HC in the Jets long history of bad coaches. If I wasn't sure that Keey is serious I'd say it was a great parody piece. I pray that no one with the Jets organization ever listens to a word this guy ever says.
I like how he talks about cap issues then recommends drafting an entirely new OL in the same draft. Brilliant foresight.

This is satire right? I agree about drafting a center and tackle, but that's a childlike assessment of the team. Jets need more than Mike White and a good oline to win the championship.
I've got the only true plan for how the Jets win the Super Bowl next year. It's actually really simple. Woody buys the Kansas City Chiefs. Moves them to East Rutherford, renames them the Jets.

I stopped reading at the comparison of White and Namath. I like White. I like his attitude and his grit. I like his willingness to stand in under pressure and also his ability to let the ball go as soon as he sees something. His arm is weak by NFL standards. It's not floater weak but it's also not capable of making the consistent deep throws that would open everything up underneath for him. There's a reason that he completes so many contested passes underneath - the defense does not respect his arm enough to play off the outside receivers.
So he's just a nut job? That's a shame. As a piece of parody I quite enjoyed it. As a serious plan it would be terrifying.
