I am going to throw some names out there was I watch. Payne Durham - TE, Purdue Not fast, but unbelievably big and strong at the catch point. He is uncoverable against any defensive back crossing the field because he boxes them out similar to Jimmy Graham used to do. Only difference is that he also blocks.
I like Xavier Hutchinson (WR, Iowa State) for the Jets. A bit worried about his speed and quickness in/out of his breaks, but he’s a big bodied contested catch receiver and we badly need one.
The Jets can probably get Brant Kuithe (TE) from Utah on the cheap, he was lost for his senior year to injury. He's an excellent TE/HB/FB hybrid type that could move all over the field. Down the road if Ruckert develops, they could be a killer set of bookends.
Love the TEs here -Mayer and Dalton Kincaid from Utah. Think he’d be a steak in round 2 but we have a lot of money invested in TE. OL should be the priority with OT round 1. I don’t think McGovern, who has been healthy, is a long term answer at center. OT-Broderick Jones TE-Kincaid CJarrett Paterson ideal for me
With the amount of flux we have at QB first now, it would probably make sense to bring McGovern back for stability. I would prefer to address Center but I don't think they will yet.
Agreed. A C/IOL prospect would be nice, but I think McGovern has been decent and shouldn't be too expensive. Probably looking at a couple new starters, maybe more
McGivern is very very average. I’d bring him back for like 3mm a year but not what he’s making now. Need a strong center or LT to really help this line out.

Roschon Johnson - RB, Texas. 6’2”, 220 lbs. A little bit tall for my liking in a runningback but the kid really should’ve transferred as soon as Bijan got there. He could’ve been one of the top backs in the country if he found somewhere to be featured. We need a mid-round back with Breece’s injury and I want a big forceful runner.
Definitely we should take in to consideration Drafting the best OL in the country Oluwaitimi. They guy is a monster!
I'd sign up for that, he definitely has ability that translates to the next level. As a plus, he started with Texas as an Hback/TE so him and Breece in dual back sets would be deadly. Excellent 3rd down back potential.
Jaelyn Duncan, OT, Maryland. 6'6" 315lbs, 3 year starter in the Big Ten. Massive frame and plus athleticism is always nice at OT. Needs to work on his technique a bit but could be a worthwhile investment in the 2nd round if we don't address OT in the 1st.
My OSU friend is a big fan of his. I wonder where Jack Campbell goes. I’ve seen projections of anywhere from round 1 to 4. He’s not going to test well in terms of speed and agility but he’s a prototypical leader at middle linebacker. We need some infusion there.
Campbell feels like a late Day 2/early Day 3 kinda guy for me right now. Could be a good Mosley replacement though.
This isn't against you man, but to think about drafting a TE is nuts. We signed 2 and completely wasted a draft pick on Ruckert. Watching Isiah Likely catch everything thrown his way and knowing he should have been the pick instead of Ruckert. All too often we waste draft picks.
I would love to see us get a big bodied WR that can actually stay healthy and catch a freaking ball. I loved the Corey Davis signing but what a freaking disappointment.
Since it's obvious we need to get a bunch of guys on the OL. Might be able to get some good value in the 2nd round at IOL. John Michael Schmitz, C, Minnesota O'Cyrus Torrence, IOL, Florida Andrew Vorhees, IOL, USC. Sedrick Van Pran, C, Georgia Cody Mauch, IOL, NDSU Schmitz is my favorite of this bunch. If he's there in the 2nd, he seems like the perfect CMG replacement and would fit in well with our offensive scheme.
