It's a shame the last we saw of Mike White was him playing injured, which probably contributed to his performance. In hindsight, even he would have benefited personally from sitting out and not having that Seahawks tape out there going in free agency. His 2022 tape prior to Seattle was solid. I feel for him. Only silver lining is he won't command much money at this point if they want him as a possible backup.
Wow. OL gonna be in shambles this week. Was kidding about my tank comment in my last post but I think it's actually a thing now.
they have been playing hurt for weeks. their coach tells the healthy 22 year old QB to enjoy the beach, of course they aint gonna gut it out anymore
Oof. That's brutal. On the other hand, Fant has been attrocious and Brown probably not much better. How much worse could Remmers or Ogbuehi be? For the safety of Flacco, they should probably have more Streveler packages
I am looking forward to seeing Remmers play, I think he's the kid who started fights like almost every day in training camp. I can't think of a better squad for him to start shit with than the Dolphins
The good thing for White is this guarantees he will finish 2.9 points ahead of Wilson in passer rating and 0.3 ahead of him in QBR.
White was definitely hurt... you could tell it from the start. So what does LaFloor dial up? 46 pass attempts and 17 rushes.
White was medically cleared last week. It's THIS week, with the entire O-line injured, that he's being "medically cleverer."
Saleh said he was hurt on the hail mary before half time last week. Which brings up a lot of questions but they will go unanswered/unasked
I know a lot of fans tuned out before the last few minutes of the game... but they kept White in and he was getting hammered... in an unwinnable game. What the fuck were the coaches thinking. Buncha dumbasses..
Does the Jets defense care still? If so, they can win the game. Turnovers, defensive scores. That is how the Jets can win. The game should be ugly and terrible. On the offensive side, Flacco needs to be throwing slants every play and getting that ball out instantly. The Jets won't be able to run the ball, so expect Flacco to throw it 50+ times but for under 300 yards somehow. 13-10 or 12-9 or some odd score like that is likely. Possibly a Dolphins blow out win if the Jets have truly stopped trying at all though, even against a 3rd string QB.
2 days after he got hammered in Buffalo he was telling anyone who would listen how he was able to play. The team doctors wouldn't clear him so he went to 10 different doctors in order to get someone to clear him. This became a big story and led to all parts of speculation about him being held out just so Wilson could play. Seattle was several weeks after he went on his "clear me to play" crusade. Maybe the coaching staff gave him what he wanted, if you know what I mean. It wouldn't surprise me. Personally, I would have yanked him hurt or not. He was fucking awful.
This is what happens when a former Passing Game Coordinator becomes your Offensive Coordinator. Kinda like having an intern masquerading as a Neuro Surgeon. You really don't want to be the patient.
