This is something he may need to spend the offseason learning, if he ever does develop that skill. He needs to be able to fully step into his throws to play well and not be jittery. Eight playoff teams isn't really a good solution to this. If there is a week 19 game between Buffalo and Cinn it wouldn't be fair to either team because it guarantees all other teams get a bye week to rest and prepare before the playoffs while these two would have only a week. You could argue that these two teams had a semi bye this week but this isn't the week before a playoff game. There is no fair solution, but the fairest is to score the game a tie and move on. They both agreed to stop the game. Buffalo is 12-3-1 and Cinn is 11-4-1. If there is an end of the year tie breaker between them, Cinn wins it because they had the lead, and this situation cost them a home game. That is the fairest outcome.
