Anyone hear about this? It could become a possibility. If this were to happen, we would need to beat Miami and Pittsburgh loss to get into the playoffs as the 8th seed.

Hilariously it would end up everyone in our division would make the playoffs except us.

It would still require us to beat the Dolphins, which isn't happening.

If the league does add a team it won't matter. We are going to lose

If they had the 8th seed, the jets will make history by becoming the first team ever to be eliminated from the playoffs in back to back weeks

The Jets love playing backup quarterbacks Sauce is twitching at the chance to knock Teddy out on more time.

Saleh said he's "not laying down" for week 18. Now with the potential of a playoff berth Mike White will definitely be starting.

Additionally the Jets would also need to the Jaguars to beat the Titans. Potential for another nail biting weekend.

If we win we can have a chance for the playoffs. If we lose we get a chance at a top 10 draft pick. How much better does it get than that!

Why? If ribs really are impacting him and he plays like last time, I'd rather have Flacco or Streveler out there. Right now Mike is not able to avoid hits and still make good throws. This is something he may need to spend the offseason learning, if he ever does develop that skill. He needs to be able to fully step into his throws to play well and not be jittery. Last game was atrocious. He cannot play until fully healthy.

If I want to see the Super Bowl parade from the corner of Rector and Broadway, where's good indoor parking?

Eight playoff teams isn't really a good solution to this. If there is a week 19 game between Buffalo and Cinn it wouldn't be fair to either team because it guarantees all other teams get a bye week to rest and prepare before the playoffs while these two would have only a week. You could argue that these two teams had a semi bye this week but this isn't the week before a playoff game.

There is no fair solution, but the fairest is to score the game a tie and move on. They both agreed to stop the game. Buffalo is 12-3-1 and Cinn is 11-4-1. If there is an end of the year tie breaker between them, Cinn wins it because they had the lead, and this situation cost them a home game. That is the fairest outcome.
