One of the tools of a beat reporter is the trust he gets from the people he is reporting on. Most of the time when I see a Cimini revelation about the Jets a few years ago I assume he sat on it because that's how you keep getting people opening up in the moment. They know whatever they just blabbed about won't wind up on the back pages the next day.

I don't see it. I see an offense that looks like they just learned how to play football a week ago. There is no flow with it just looks like they're struggling constantly. I think Garrett Wilson should be more of a focus on the offense. I understand there have been some injuries with Breece Hall but it took them a few games to get Bam Knight into the offense. It's just a mess right now.
Garrett Wilson is the focus. It’s why Moore hasn’t gotten many looks. Wilson is the #1 read on most pass plays. Zach has been historically bad at QB. I sat through Brooks Bollinger, Bubby Brister, Matt Robinson, Glenn Foley, Rick Mirer…. Zach Wilson has completely eclipsed every one of those QB’s for ineptitude. We have never started a QB that plays as poorly as Zach. That, and only that, is why our offense has looked inept. If you look at the plays on film you constantly see the design of the play creating mismatches. You see receivers getting open. If we had competency at QB Garrett Wilson would have upwards of 1500 yds receiving as a rookie. We have a great amount of talent and Zach shit all over it. MLF does need to be better at designed running plays and his feel for the game, but he’s a talented play designer and a great offensive mind. To punish him for having to work with literally the worst Jet QB of all time is ridiculous.
Offensive line and gimmicky play calls have nothing to do with it? Nothing at all? I guess that is why the O was so good at Minny where they couldn’t score in the Redzone.
I think I quoted @Br4d when I said that Saleh and Co shouldn't be fired. Yeah, I changed my mind. This is a pathetic fucking display. If they get blown out here and lose to Miami next week, fire everyone.
The Jets have been really hard to watch the last month and a half and Saleh is the main reason that is true. Things were going ok into the first Pats game and from that point on it felt like Saleh had lost focus on his most important task which is to win games.
Not sure if he lost focus on winning. Teams caught onto the fact that the Jets LBs and safeties are atrocious, leading to the D being abused over the middle of the field the last 3.5 games. The Jets O isn’t good enough without AVT and Breece.
