This report is definitely BS, as La Canfora is a moron, but the Jets are set up right now. Win these last 2 games and you have a legitimate chance at making the playoffs. Lose? I wouldn't disagree with changes being made. Especially going from (7-4) to (7-10). It has been pathetic.
It's tough not to like Saleh it really is, especially following Gase. I think he's grown as a coach since last year and perhaps there is a slim chance we can still make the playoffs, although unlikely with our luck. Point is, this better not be true. We as a team have grown leaps and bounds from last year and with competent QB play from the start we are playoff team.
First year staff there overperforming so probably not. Although a 1-6-1 finish would definitely get them fired in some places.

The Jets defense went from dead last to top 10 in almost every category. The Jets offense has shown signs of improvement and has been handicapped by the worst QB in the league, and quite honestly, one of the worst QBs of all time so far (not an exaggeration, his stats are right on par with that of JaMarcus Russell and Ryan Leaf). Next year is the year for this staff.
I doubt Saleh is fired. But I could see pressure coming from the top to fire MLF. The only way we fire Saleh is if Woody wants to make a run at and gets Sean Payton.
He needs to work hard in the off season. He very well might be a bust but look at Geno Smith. The Jets gave up on him too soon.

Firing Saleh now would be idiotic…he’s got this team on the upswing in year two as he got some talent, and had Zach been even fucking mediocre, we’d be in the playoffs already. It’s incredible that we still have a shot at the playoffs despite Zach being literally the worst QB in the league. This offense has looked fine when anyone other than Zach runs it.
