We need a QB who can win now, not another lottery ticket.

he’s been groomed for this offense. Literally the exact same offense.

Idk if he’s win now but I don’t think we will find anyone with anything close to that

If that's what you're looking for, Garoppolo is the guy.

I like it.. Hadn't even considered that guy.

So who do you keep, White with a larger contract than he deserves in addition to the accelerated cap hit from cutting/trading Zach, or keep Zach to avoid a mountain of dead money?

1st - TB12 if we think we’re 1 QB away from doing damage, why get get the G,O.A.T?

2nd - Jimmy G. a proven winner in the system, no draft capital, between Jimmy G and MW we might get a whole season of competent qb play

3rd - Jocoby Brisset jk. 3 ex patriots in a row? Ouch

If this was earlier in the rebuild, I’d say (and have said) “stay the course” with MW and ZW but this is the “show me” year coming up in 2023.

I think the Jets are an attractive destination for a FA QB who wants to win

Tunsil only has 1 year left on his contract so I bet he can be had for something reasonable.

Without question, I would take Lamar Jackson. I also know there's no way in hell they could afford that. Carr is definitely the next best and probably most realistic choice. That's the route I would go.

can’t keep Zach. Bite the cost and trade him. Someone will give something for him.

I have my money on the Raiders or Cardinals, west coast teams with less expectations and high percentage of Mormons to take on a reclamation project like this

And I like Garoppolo as well no doubt. I think Love could have a high ceiling though

Lamar is clear #1, and it is not even close. 25 year old former NFL MVP, two time Pro Bowler already at that age. But he is also the most unrealistic. Only Watson was traded like this, and he had to really force it by sitting a year. To me this is a bit of a pipe dream, though I would take it in a second if somehow Lamar becomes available.

Rogers and Brady are the other superstars on that list, but aging ones. At any given moment they can drop off a cliff, like Payton Manning did in his last year at 39. Rodgers will be 40. Brady - 46. And even today both guys don't look as good as a year ago. Granted there are other factors, but still, there is a high probability in the next year or two they will collapse. Would I be willing to take a chance? Yes, I think so. Though I don't think these options are realistic, it may be worth a call.

Finally, the most realistic scenario of Jimmy G, Carr, and Minshew. Carr is under contract, but could become a free agent if Raiders decide to move on. Ideally I would like to bring back Mike White and one of these 3. If Mike White actually balls out in the next two games, and also perhaps in play-offs, maybe it could be White and Minshew to save money. If White is still hurt or inconsistent, we will probably end up with Jimmy or Carr and White as a back-up.

Win what now? Gardner Minshew is taking us to the promised land? Garroppolo? Darnold part duuh? Geno? White? What are you planning on winning with one of those guys? This is a sure fire way to give yourself a few looks as a potential WC birth and a quick exit from the playoffs a few times. We’ll do that just long enough for the young talent we have to be up for contracts and leaving while we’re lamenting the fact we don’t have a QB and now don’t even have a good team. Just like it has every single time before. We need to draft a franchise QB. We need to keep trying to draft one until we have one. This league is designed to cater to the top 10 QB’s. Everything else is irrelevant.

We can sign one of those guys and also draft a QB, the two are not mutually exclusive. I was just saying our free agent/trade acquisition shouldn't be Jordan Love.

Mike now has a two game audition. If he plays well, stays upright, and gets us into the playoffs any other choice would be crazy.

If he cant accomplish all of the above let the debates begin !!!

My only exception to the above from the posted list would be Lamar. He has the accomplishments and he is still young. All the others are relatively mediocre or over the hill.

I like Minshew, he's accurate and can read defenses and make proper decisions. When is the last time this team had that?

We are not at this moment time a lucky team like KC Cincinatti or Jaxsonville who hit the draft lottery with Mahomes Burrow and Trevor L

But look at the SB Champs>>the Rams literally bought a team getting Stafford Michell Kupp Von Miller...not by drafting. Then they had a real good Coach in McVay

You assemble your Team and add the Pieces

OL and QB are 2 missing pieces that the Draft can't immediately solve

Like the Yankees let's buy some big talent!

So I am excited about the List of QBs you all have mentioned above:)

And there's one right under our nose..Mike White ready for resigning

I have no problem with that. I think we should try to retain Mike White and draft a guy either this year or next in the first round and let him sit.
