This is good news, although it will only be until he gets hurt again. the Jets are only as competitive as he is healthy, and the Oline is still playing like shit.
Many people say if the Jets just get average QB play, they are a playoff team. Mike White is an average QB. Could this really happen?!?!

Nice.... having White play betters our chance by a bunch. I still hope they throw some Streveler at the Seahawks for a little change up.
I think he Is better than average. We are about to find out. If he can stay healthy, I think he has a case to be the guy next year. He has the things you absolutely need from a starting QB and his physical traits aren't as bad as people would lead you to believe. I'm excited for the game.

Every QB takes hits, even massive ones. Heck even Lawrence who is very mobile, he been hammered by Clemons. But they minimize the impact, move a little at the right time, even inside the pocket contort the body when they throw, take a step away as they throw. There is a bit a feel for the pressure. Mike right now is just a statue who has no feel for the pressure. He can take some shots, but he needs to learn to minimize these in the offseason. Also, he needs to better throwing on the run and in general be a bit more mobile. With these two things, I think he can be really good and may be the best starting option for 2023.
