Last week all games are at the same time in order not to give anyone advantage. No TNF, Sunday night, Monday night, not 4PM games. All games same time: Sunday 1PM.
None of the Week 18 games has a designated time yet. They will announce the schedule after Week 17. There will be 4 pm games and a Sunday Night game. Sunday Night games always have a win and in designation for both playing teams. If Dolphins and Jets game is the only game with that designation our game will be Sunday night game
Very highly suspect that the Dolphins/Jets game week 18 will be flexed to prime time if the Jets win next week. Regardless of the Pats/Fins game. Can't believe our chances are this good right now. It all rides on our defense remembering that they are not scrubs and MWs health! Also, hoping KC takes care of Den next week so Buff has to give NE everything they got in week 18.
It's nice that we have a more significant shot at making it now, but it won't make a difference if they can't get Mike White cleared to play QB on Sunday. Flacco and Streveler are definitely not going to get us there.
If White can't go, we have to play Flacco. He's probably our best non-White QB, and more importantly, the other players will play hardest if he's starting.
If players determine how hard they play based on who is QB, the season is over and this team has big problems.
Jets win and Miami wins = Jets/Phins is a playoff game Jets will know if they control their own destiny going into the Seattle game because the Seattle game is at 4 pm after the other games. The Jets might get flexed into primetime if it is straight playoff game the final week. The Titans-Jaguars game is already a playoff game but I think NBC would rather have the the Jets and Phins because it's two larger markets, although they might want the whole Trevor Lawrence story. Packer-Lions could be another playoff game if Packers and Lions win next week, Washington loses, and Seattle loses.
Obviously we need to win out but — We want the dolphins to beat the patriots next week and then week 18 becomes an automatic win and in. If Pats win, we need buffalo to beat New England week 18. i believe there is also a path If the chargers lose to the colts + Denver (their game vs rams doesn’t matter bc out of conference). They would need to lose both vs afc. I can double check that scenario later, but I’m pretty sure that one is still in play. EDIT - Chargers losing 2 games vs AFC teams would have us jump to 6th seed rather than the 7th
Tua is in concussion protocol and I would be shocked if he plays again for the remainder of the season. It would take a miracle for him to play this weekend @ New England. Gonna really have to hope the Pats lose to Buffalo b/c they'll prob win Sunday.
Yeah, Teddy. The vegas line already moved 4 points after the news. These two games become massive games for us now in week 17. DEN @ KC BUF @ CIN Bills play the Pats in W18 and we need the Bills to not be resting starters. As long as KC wins or Buffalo loses, the Bills will not be resting starters for the 1 seed bye.
The bills backups are better than the Pats starters. But I think even if they lose next week to Cincinnati they will be playing hard in week 18. They have the tiebreaker over KC so they will still be in the mix for that no .1 seed. Although, Cincy I guess might be looking at the drivers seat then I suppose I didn't think about that. wow
