No need for further debate. The verdict is in: Jets decide on Zach Wilson future (msn.com) and the jury has decided correctly !!!
the article and several other media outlets are misreporting what Glazer said (which was an opinion). the media WANTS to see the Jets be the fucking laughing stock and you turds eat it right up and perpetuate this shit. Wilson’s mom wasn’t wrong, the fan base and media surrounding the team is toxic. no one can succeed in this environment.
What theyare not telling you is they are worried about a punctured lung. Let the kid rest. Lose outright. Pete Carroll hopefully runs the score up
What a dick. Harassing Zach's family. Yeah, guys like him are toxic, though they are not the fanbase, just vocal minority. Yes we are all glad he is benched, because he is not good enough, and they all know it, but to go out and harass the guy's mom with this gives the fans a bad name. If that's the case, he's got a long way to go honing his skills.
Agreed. This guy was being an asshole. Don't blame her for lashing out at him. Re: Jay Glazer's news, what would moving on look like? Pretty sure he's almost uncuttable from a cap perspective and what's his trade value? Unless it's just so toxic with him and the locker room, I'm fine if he's back as like a number 3 QB to compete. We can't depend on him in any way. Anything you get from him is a bonus now. But you'd hate to trade him for pennies and then he gets better in 2 or 3 years
Of course it is our fault as fans.. We're supposed to be like Chicago Cub fans. What's a century or two when you're having fun at the ballpark. Too bad the new ballpark is as miserable as the team's history.
Kind of what we signed up for here. He is hurting the overall team with his lack of skills on the field andbehind the scenes. No trust. Maybe a 2nd or 3rd round flyer on him
We have one of the nicest fanbases in the NFL. Seahawks fans were calling for Pete Carroll to be fired last offseason for crying out loud.
1) noone knows what the JETS are going to do with zach next year (I'm assuming he'll be an overpaid backup, because noone will trade shit for an extreme project with that salary) 2) who gives a shit what his crazy attention whore mom thinks? 3) A-holes on "social" media.... shocking. it applies to the majority who waste most of their miserable lives on that shit Merry Christmas
We do have massive assholes in this fanbase. Honestly, people I know who are fans of other teams who have gone to games at Metlife have said that it's not much less hostile than going to Buffalo or Philly. Also, we're tougher on our own team than either of those fan bases, and that's saying a LOT!
This is exactly what moving on from a sunk cost looks like. Yes, he might get better in 2 or 3 years but we need to be concentrating on being the best we can right now and he clearly is not part of that process. Move on and accept the small chance that he will figure things out. What this creates is tremendous potential at the position to actually grow the Jets talent at QB. The odds on Mike White turning into a FQB go up dramatically if Zach Wilson is not on the Jets roster next year with all the FUD that will create for everybody. Among other things Mike White might actually sign with the Jets before free agency if Zach Wilson was already gone. Extremely unlikely White signs with them without testing the market if there is any chance Zach Wilson will get undeserved starts over him next season.
I’d much prefer Flacco. He’s gotten a ton of hate but he’s better than Wilson. He can at least see open receivers sometimes. The mobility argument is a joke because Wilson does nothing good with it. At least Flacco’s to slow to run backwards.
The pressure of New York and toxic environment stuff is such nonsense. Every single NFL franchise is under a huge national microscope. This isn’t 1994 where huge markets dominate that much in terms of coverage. The Bills are talked about more than nearly every team in the league. So are the Packers every time they’re good.
Agreed, we are just very passionate because we take big wins and big losses to heart often because of a lack of a good franchise record
The Seahawks are beatable. We just need a QB who won't humiliate us and give the defense and playmakers a chance. If White can't go, that QB is Flacco.
