Starting Flacco instead of White to begin this season, Not pulling Zack in the Ne game, and now taking the timeout home to his wife, all cost this team dearly this season, like I said incompetent coach. But hey maybe by year 5 of his contract both him and Zack will finally stop being braindead and we win a superbowl. Lets just hope and pray and put up with the incompetence for the next 3 years, after all we are the Jacksonville Jets right where no one cares about winning or football.
I mean it's obvious George did not like the signing to begin with. He's harping on record... He went 4-13 his first year, so the jets would have needed 11-13 wins this year. Then you add the 20/20 hindsight in terms of playing flacco, It's low hanging fruit.

Agreed he has made mistakes, including at the end of the last game. Overall I've been happy with Saleh this year and the clock management/2 minute situations have been solid. I don't think perfection would have changed this person's mind
The best way to judge Saleh is to look at how many games coaches universally seen as good win when their starting QB gets injured. Because Saleh has pretty much exclusively had a backup-caliber QB starting his games.

This is the first time all season there’s been a game management mistake. Outside of this game, we’ve had all of our timeouts, managed two minute drives well, called challenges at the right time and so on.
Very doubtful you will get a straight answer, but can someone please ask Rolex Rob very nicely why the Flacco cadaver is still the backup QB after all these weeks of the Jets being in playoff contention? How seriously is the Jet organization really taking this playoff run when they have continuously refused to back in the hearst and remove Flacco from the premises, and more importantly, the #2 QB roster spot? Couldn't they tell from Joe's couple of plays in Buffalo that rigor mortis set in long ago? Such inexplicable irresponsible decision making indicates Flacco may not be the only one on this teams without a live pulse.

That is overreaction. The reality is that the jets lost their offensive MVP early in the season for the whole year and have had shitty QB all year except maybe 1 or 2 games. The defense has been very good, overall. Saleh far from perfect but also not awful as you claim he is.
Injurys happen and the shitty Qb play is all on Saleh, If he started Mike White instead of Flacco in the beggining of the season or took Zack out of the lineup sooner there would be no shitty Qb play and the Jets would be cruising right now, don't act like the Jet's dont have a competent Qb because they do and his name is Mike White. Saleh decides who starts so spare me the excuses in year 1 and 2 of his tenure Saleh has folded like a folded chair and made stupid irrational decisions and took a timeout home with him last game when down 3. Love how were so used to losing that the Jets fans are blinded by 7-7 but missed all the times we had winnable games this year but blew them because of our incompetent head coach and our incompetent offensive coordinator who came with him. I think Saleh is fine after he learns from this season’s mistakes. He has shown promise for this entire team this season. Can’t do much when you have a QB carousel. We’d be continuing to sing his high praises with marginal QB and O-line play. I honestly think we are going to be OK after this season.
I actually went to this shit show today and had to bear the agony in terrible weather Robert saleh is Terrible zack shoulda been pulled in the 1st half, he has lived and died with zack all season, so now he has to be fired I know Johnsons will never do it, so hello to Robert saleh for the next 3 years and no playoffs. You make Sean Peyton the highest paid coach in the Nfl he comes here, No one here can say Saleh is a better coach than Sean Peyton, but the Woodys are just like the coupons were on the Mets they keep hiring inexperienced bufoons cause they are cheaper. Once the Mets got a real owner and he refused to lose he hired a experienced manager and won 101 games and made the playoffs. Mahomes developed under a offensive genious in Andy Reid, Josh Allen developed under a genious Sean McDermott.
