A second round for PORTIS isn't tough at all. Don't be ridiculous, that would be a steal. A second rounder for Portis would be an absolute gift for the Jets.

MaCareins played very well the second half of the season and is an excellent 3rd recevier for any team.

No, he's not. He'll still never catch a pass when he's covered. You have to be able to catch some of those too or you're not much of a receiver. And he drops balls when he's not covered also.

Think about the guys availabe in the draft for that 2nd rounder...it becomes clear to see that turner is worth it. I personally like Turner more the Bush and Kenny Irons....

If we can get Lynch for our 1st rounder....we can't pass that up. Assuming we don't trade up and Lynch is gone well before then....we need to head in a different direction and I think Turner is our best bet as the north-south runner we need.

Can you imagine the damage we can do with a Turner-Leon 1-2 punch? Oh baby. I can't wait for September

You know the Chargers would be pushing for the first of our two second rounders (the one from Washington), I just feel that is a bit much for Turner. The second one I could swallow, and our third is a no brainer. Should be interesting....

It seemed to me like J-Mac had emerged from Mangini's doghouse over the course of the season and that he was coming around. However, his play never impressed me. Maybe Chad just made him look bad but he never came through in a big spot.

I still think Leon could be the feature guy but I'll trust in Tanginibaum if they think otherwise. I think Mike Turner and Clinton Portis (pending a physical) are both worth Washington's pick.

Agreed....that is where I think things will reach a chokepoint, IF the jets even pursue Turner at all. Things may become more technical in nature, and I doubt things will be as simple as one 2nd rounder for Turner.

Had some big catches down the stretch. Was the only WR who ever got deep. The other guys were more catch a 10 yard pass and make a great run after the catch kind of guys.

The first second rounder is a no-brainer also. These teams would like to improve themselves also, not just give guys away.

He's had some freaky injuries though. Not chronic stuff.

Forget McCareins, it's Coles comments that concern me. I hope those were quoted out of context because he's coming off like a little pussy. Earth to Coles... Cotch is the best WR on this team. If you can't making it through an NFL training camp, hang 'em up now so we can make a move on Randy.

Not yet he isn't. Not untill coles leaves. As for randy moss forget it. I don't want that to attach us to chad for too long.

This season's the only time he's been out for significant time, and it was for a broken hand, not something related to his actual running skills.

I disagree. Cotch was the only reason the game was even close. His TD looked like a young TO. Coles had several tries at YAC that he totally blew. AND he's bitching about traing camp? See ya. And Moss doesn't attach us to Chad, he just plain gives us a better chance to win.

Yes it does if he's coming here for chad. And you can't tell me that one game, and one season makes cotch better than coles.

cause people like to talk about what they dont know about. not to mention he has went over 1500 3 out of 5 years in the bfl and is only 25. a 2nd rd pick for portis is a steal.
