None of this matters anymore. The Jets have an incredibly talented young roster. We need to find reliable QB play and next year this team will be full send. Watch.
Yes, in all actuality I only created this thread cause of our upcoming opponent and their QB, and our lack of one. Finding one is easier said then done.
It's Douglas's fault we have Wilson, pure and simple. Wilson had one decent season in college against a creampuff schedule. I cannot believe that Douglas did not consider Wilson's level of competition in college when he wasted the number 2 pick on him. Zach has showed almost no improvement. He stared right at the WR and basically handed that INT to Detroit. He has no touch on the short passes and can't read a defense. He looks like a boy among men out there to me, that is the best way I know to say it. BUT, Douglas and Saleh have NO desire to admit his selection was an error--so they will likely give teenage Zach the keys again next year. Good grief, Zach had looked terrible in 4 straight losses to the PATRIOTS--The jets have to win at least one game against New England each year to compete, and Zach can't move the ball more than 2 yards against them. He stinks! At least the jets only wasted 1 year telling themselves that Browning Nagle was the next Namath.
Given how well Douglas has drafted aside from the Wilson pick, you almost have to wonder if that pick was a directive from ownership. Saleh has seemed willing to move in a different direction when necessary, so at least the coaching staff is able to at least recognize that there is a problem at that position. What will be really telling will be what they do at the position in the offseason.
Lawrence wasn't perfect but he looked pretty damn good in that weather. Could have been ours. Again what was the organization thinking? Can't even tank right. Damn shame.
