they haven't played a great def recently. patriots shut them out, cowboys only gave up 6 points, bills give did up 25 but lions lost.
It may not be a “letdown” but they are due for a loss especially against a desperate Jets team on the road and in the cold. The Lions gave up well over 200 yards to Jefferson yesterday I wonder what Wilson will do to them. I don’t see the Jets losing this game but it probably won’t be a blow out.
I agree with you. I think the Jets will win but they will get the Lions best shot. Both teams are fighting for their playoff lives.
They have a Jaggatnut offense that goes up against a top 10 defense: if Q plays will be tough for them like it was for Minnesota They have a bad defense and please let’s run the ball all day. I just read the NY Post article on Mike White..and my conclusion is that psychologically he will be tough to replace as he has the overwhelming respect of the whole team Now..here’s the thing . How can “Mr irrelevant Purdy , the very last player drafted causing the 49ers to be a strong playofff contender. And we all know Mike White was drafted a bit higher at the time by Dallas So in my mind the CS and Douglas have to find the OL talent in any way they can to protect White Next you have to completely rethink your Offensive game plan eg can we run run run? lastly this Team is doing what Bear Bryant warned Namath about>>they beat themselves with dumb mistakes!

Solidify the OL in offseason. They have to figure out who the tackles are going forward. They probably need to draft another tackle relatively high and maybe a center too depending on whether they resign McGovern. What about AVT? We know he was drafted to play guard but with the job Herbig is doing at RG (and cheap) can they put AVT at RT?

Lions/Vikings are divisional opponents and they know each other's tendencies a lot better. The Lions were also home where they are a lot tougher.

I don't know if I expect Mike White to stay healthy. You can be tough and also fragile. That Milano tackle was ugly, but it was made uglier by the fact that Mike White has the physique of Woody from Toy Story.
