Yeah. because it's true. You thought you were creative. Then you tried to turn me calling you out on It, against me. As you're still trying to do. Meanwhile. I'm just laughing at you. .. and hey, If you're laughing too, which I'm sure you'll inform me about how much harder you're laughing than I am after you read this. It's predictable. I do hope you're having a good time though. I'm not upset In any way because of you.. of course we both know you'll tell me you're not trying to upset me, etc.... It's predictable. I truly am having fun at your expense though. It's In a brotherly way though. Don't worry. Not malicious.
I think the real answer to this Is the league needs to be more consistent and the league needs to truly define this shit because I understand the unfairness here. I also don't believe either should've been a RP penalty.
Unfortunately, fantasy stats doesn’t win football games. Everyone now is complaining about the oline now. It has been this bad all season. But yet it is, trust the pocket. Everyone hates Zach and the throw always, could have used those today by white instead of the big sacks. Can’t have the negative yard plays and keep running game in it. Could have used Zach’s legs today. Would of made a difference. if you were a betting man, you would. Have lost money the last two weeks. Bottom line is QBs other than Zach have beat a bad Cleveland team in a miracle fashion and a worse Bears team without their QB and this team is in contention foe the playoffs. Everyone say what they want and how everyone on the team Loves MW and hates ZW, but it sure has not equaled wins.
The defender landed in the QB. In the two hit White almost died, they didn't land on him. I don't agree with it, but that's the rule.
I was very upset watching this game for several reasons, and by the way, it was not because the Jets lost. 1.) After White suffered a devastating hit from Mike Milano and was having trouble breathing, his afternoon should have ended. Sure he wanted to come back in, but playing him further risked a more serious injury like a punctured lung or traumatic pneumothorax. Playing any further could actually risk death! Who is the stupid Jet's Doctor? This individual should be fired! I pray to God the kid does not have any serious rib injury. What really kills me is when Saleh states he was sent to the hospital for his two rib injuries after the game as a precaution. Sure let him play some more and get a 3rd rib injury? Tell me how this is any different than the McDaniel situation with Tua? 2.) It goes without saying that the Jet's offense cannot pass or run block, but can anyone on the team block? Conklin as a pass and run blocker sucks. I think Bawden would have been a big help today. But I do have a dumb question for the Master Mind Lafluer, have you ever heard of an extra offensive lineman? How about having fewer receivers in the pattern and extra pass-blocking protection so your QB doesn't get killed? For example a heavy set, jumbo package, or full house so the defense has some respect for your running game? Is it a good idea to put your injured QB in a shotgun empty formation? 3.) Special Teams' play is killing the Jets. 3A.) 1st punt return of the game. Berrios could have fair caught the ball at the 27-yard line. Lets the ball roll to the Jet's 2-yard line. Great way to start the game for the offense! The drive now requires 25 more yards! 3B.) 2nd punt return of the game. Berrios almost allows the punt to contact him for a muffed punt reception. Hey, dummy let the ball go after the 10-yard line, punt return 101! 3C.) The Bills TD drive before the half was set up by a punt with a net of 18 yards. Bad enough that the punt goes into the end zone, but then a holding call. Bills should have started at the 10, but now start at the 30. A net of 20 yards in field position! 3D.) I could go on some more, but I don't want to add salt to the wound! Conclusion The Jets can't block anyone. It is bad enough the offensive line can't block anyone, but the rest of the offense cannot either. I hope Bawden will be able to come back, the Jets need him badly! Zack Wilson is lucky he didn't play Sunday after seeing what Mike White had to endure. Special teams suck. Please get someone else to return your punts because the punt-return average is a misleading stat. The ability of a punt returner to field the ball and prevent it from going any further is actually the most important attribute a punt returner must possess. Ask Bill Parcells. As to your punter, I will refrain because punting has been a nightmare all season for the Jets. On a positive note great defense. The only bad thing I can say is you need a better Nickleback. If the Jets can address my first two concerns blocking and special teams, I see a very bright future.
Wilson demoralized his own offense (really his whole team). Whether it was shitty turnovers, running backwards and still taking the sack (which White did yesterday - hopefully he won’t become addicted like some inactive QB we know), making routine plays look hard, rubbing people the wrong way, or a combination of all that and Moore, it just wasn’t working out. His play is awful and as it stands he has a chance to become one of the biggest busts in NFL history. And FFS, Zach Wilson wasn’t winning the games by himself. If the defense was league average the Jets would already be out of playoff contention. Pointing to his record as a starter is really just looking for a way to create controversy when it’s crystal clear who the better QB has been this season. He made some clutch throws in a few games (so did Flacco) but a better QB would have put some of those games away before those throws were needed. Wilson should be QB 2 right now because if White gets knocked out the season is over anyway, but it really seems like some of the skill position guys don’t want anything to do with him. And for what it’s worth, White is on pace to take fewer sacks per game than Wilson did by a wide margin.
Something really not related to the win or loss yesterday, I noticed Quincy Williams does that uppercut celebration with his eyes closed. It's only a matter of time before he punches a referee across the field. That would be a shame.
After the game all the offensive line players came over to Mike White and called him a warrior. Maybe they should have apologized for the crappy line blocking that almost destroyed him. Shame on the really offensive line.
Who said Wilson won the games by himself? Now, look up the defenses Zach played and the oline the Jets put out there compared to what MW has faced. It’s a joke. Not saying Wilson needs to get a hell of a lot better, but against a good defense, this is what I think you get out of white. Statue in pocket, several big hits a game. Ton of meaningless yards on check downs. It is like Zach was always looking for home run, White is always looking for check down, even at end of game.
Even when they rolled out White, he looked like he was running with cement shoes on. He is purely a pocket passer. With our offensive line that's a problem. He took some big hits yesterday.
FWIW, the one where Milano crushed him was on White for not setting the protection properly. White could have also thrown the ball away on a few of those to avoid a hit.
Lawson had a lot to say after the game. He was pissed the Jets cut him last year on a friday before the finale (sunday) in Buffalo last year. He said the game was personal to him. So basically he spent his press time ripping on the Jets organization until they asked about Mike White and he had those nice things to say about him
It's funny you say this... I always visualize some street fighter uppercut happening to one of the refs when he does his celebration. Hadouken!!!!!!! This Is my brain. Off drugs. I have issues.
Nah. The refs have been horrible this year. I try to stay as realistic as I possibly can. Honest as I can. It's football at the end of the day. It wasn't some wild hit to the head. It wasn't slamming him to the turf with enforced body weight behind It. It was a clean hit that folded him up like a lawn chair. To me. That's football. I don't want that aspect of the game removed from football. Let them make clean hits, even If they are big time NFL hits. I'm all for protecting the head, etc... He drilled him right In the ribs, where you're coached to do so. I can't hate on that. The REF biased for our team in particular has been gross though. Maybe I have my green colored glasses on with that though. Not sure. I do feel the REFS have Intentionally fucked us this year In so many different ways. Which is why I want consistency from these refs. In no world should Herbert get that call over such a weak ass sack and we get nothing for our QB getting folded. .. it's genuine BS. However, I'd rather they just be more consistent and realize that those tackles should just be left alone. Let the sack be a sack. Be consistent.
