Allen has done it many times in his career. And it took a great play by Sauce to break up a deep ball in the first half that might've gone for a TD if Gardner didn't break it up - it was right on the hands of the receiver.
Neither did, Zach. If our run game didn't exist, we wouldn't have won at all with, ZW. Which, I think, brings us closer to the adjustment that I think they should make. Throw less, run more. It's not overly complicated. We have a QB now that can be productive but our identity needs to be running the ball. That win-loss statistics support this. Regardless of WHO our QB Is. At the end of the day. It's not an even comparison and ZW was fortunate to get carried along the way, which Is the ONLY reason you can make that argument right now. There Is nothing else to hang your hat on. That's a fact.
Career we can't speak of the long term aspects of that because It's not fair. Mike White has done well In the limited time he's played but MW has shown several times that he Is capable of this too. At the end of the day... You can make all the excuses In the world to bash Mike White but he has been defying the odds since given a chance. I'm talking about today. We have 100 yards more passing, with 25 less rushing yards.. We had the ability and production to win this game. If you peal away the layers, MW wasn't the fucking problem. It's obvious. ..but continue on.
Gotta disagree. The Mosely mistake was costly... but the two fumbles are what flushed this game away like last nights cheap burrito.
MW didn't throw It away though... MW also made enough plays today to win the game. I mean???? What? He didn't fumble twice, did he? It's so confusing.
Did you guys really think White was going to make an incredible throw and beat someone deep? He's dink and dunk. If he's the best we have we are in trouble.
First of all. The defense was playing deep, so, obviously that wouldn't be logical unless we were doing a hail mary. He has thrown down the field plenty. It kills me that you guys hate Mike White so much that you allow It to completely make you guys reach for non sense to try to discredit the kid. Continue on though.
I'm not "bashing" MW, even if you think so. I'm just making what I think is a fair assessment. Did use words like "Trash" "Sucks" in that assessment? He didn't play poorly nor did I say he did at all, but he made some key bad decisions/mistakes, and he couldn't elevate his game to over come his own or the mistakes of others. He's the best we've got right now, but that doesn't make him good.
I could say the same about Tom Brady and have decades of film to back it up. Favre had individual games with more "special" passes than Brady had in his entire career.. Doesn't mean he was the better guy to have under center.
Who hates Mike White? Where have I said that ir anything remotely close to that? Am I not allowed to critique him? Jeezus!
Zach has done much better? You can argue that MLF is to blame for the passing play calling in the redzone for both MW and Zach.
Mike White hasn't put the ball In the end zone? ..or he just wasn't able to do It, like many other good QB's in the league, In the final drive of the game under very difficult circumstances. More times than not, It doesn't work out In that situation. I don't care who the QB Is. MW did plenty enough throughout the game to give us the chance to win that game. Period. We could've and probably should've won this game.
It's very obvious In your overly critical comments about the kid. Imagine If you used that same kind of criteria and perspective when you talk about, ZW. How he's played.. What he's done.. Etc.. It's night and day between the two. ..but you guys take every chance you can to diminish MW, even when It doesn't make sense to do so.
