Disappointing. That Michael Carter fumble was disguisting. They were looking like they were gonna score. I also hate the decision not to go for it on 4th and inches. Even if they kick the FG (they did) and stop them (they did) puts them in a terrible spot to try to score. They're a really good team and Mike White is one tough SOB who can play. But if they want to make the playoffs, they can't make brutal mistakes like they have the last couple weeks. They need to make a statement next week. And the week after. They're almost out of losses...
Dumb decision to take the FG instead of going for the TD at the end! Romo called it right: much harder to drive 60 yards for a TD than 30 for a FG. Bad mistake by Saleh!
Mike White proved he's a tough SOB and no doubt earned more respect from his teammates, but he doesn't have the skillset to win these kind of games.
Remember the big blow was Flacco’s fumble at midfield. bills scored afterwards. If we could have held the ball and even punted, it would be a better position.
His arm was even more of a reason not to go for the field goal there. Felt like the game was out of reach with that decision.
And also, it's stupid to have Flacco as the backup at this point. Cut him, elevate Zach. Or at least trot out Steveler. Or hell, play with no damn QB! Jeezus!
Agree they should have gone for it, but hard to be frustrated when they did get the ball back and couldn't even get a first down, never mind 40-50 yards for FG position.
Lost our #1 WR, RT, QB DT for points or all the game. Hard to win. Flacco should be inactive rest of the year.
Love what was said in the post game. Jets may have lost, but that was a great Buff O. They played knowing the Jets could come back. And I think, no matter what, no one wants to see us in the playoffs. But shit, what a game. Only better if we could have pulled off a win. Mike White, that was a game that makes everyone want to play for you. If he is healthy, he stays the man. Stealth
Well I'm pissed and frustrated. That decision was almost like saying "We don't think we can score here". And again, White is tough, and very competent, but what he isn't is capable of making special plays when you need them from what I've seen. Yes, I know he was hurt at the end of the game, but what about earlier? I know it's heresy here, but he's not a "difference maker".
This Is fair to debate but I have ZERO problem with taking the points there with all your TO In that spot. It all played out perfectly the way you would want, It just didn't work out on the final drive. We are saying the same thing If they go for It there and don't make It... Should've taken the point. You had all your time outs, It's a two score game anyway, etc... It was actually brilliantly done. IMO The time management was fantastic, opportunity was there, It was just too much for this team today. I absolutely think It was the correct choice to take the points there though.
