My favorite part is how I won't do this because I don't think there's an entity on planet Earth I care of satisfying or convincing less than you.

100% correct. In addition, the other trips where we came away with only 3 had a lot to do with it as well.

You’re losing your mind when the refs didn’t cause the Jets to lose. If this was the Saints/Rams playoff game from 4 years ago I’d be on your bandwagon but the Jets committed 6 penalties for 40 yards and the Vikings had 3 penalties for 44 yards.

    Where’s your outrage coming from?

That sounds like the most lame excuse I've heard here forever.

Just admit "you got nothin'" but unfounded opinion without a prayer of supporting it.

5 missed PI calls, I think 4 in the first half. One offensive. Davis was hit way before the tip interception.

Whitehead defenseless receiver penalty where Jefferson danced after and did not take a hit even at his shoulders. This caused whitehead to layup another hit.

Sauce is a very handy CB, but his penalty was weak as fuck at that point.

    There's something I'm forgetting I'll add when I remember.

This all happened in the first 20 minutes of the game. Again it made the game 10-3, jets lost by 5.

Davis was not hit way before tipped interception. That’s asinine. I’ll rock with you on the defenseless call but it was a first down on the catch regardless?

FIVE missed pass interference calls? Dude cmon.

He was. Solid second before the ball came.

    Davis no call
    Whitehead no call
    Conklin no call
    Mims no call.

Then there was a 5th in the second half.

I'll confirm when I watch some replays. Who cares if the whitehead foul was a catch? It's still yards that led to a rushing TD the next play.

But to be honest there were a couple false starts on the Jets that could have been called in the final drive that weren’t (supposed they weren’t)

I work frequently with two ex-officials... both were Vice Presidents of Officiating for the NFL at different times.
They are currently Head of Officiating for the lesser two leagues.

From conversations I've had and discussions I've overheard... the problem with the officiating is not bias...
    it's job performance and consistency.

Maybe I'm biased since I work on that shit...

Did the Vikings have 1 holding call?

I would agree with that assessment 100 percent. Outside of treatment the great players get in any sport, it's just overall sucking at the position.

NFL only recently made their officials full time. NFL also complained, on their own, that a series of retirements caused a drop in NFL officiating experience... Like are you kidding me? This league administratively has the least to worry about with about compared to others sports as each team only has 17 games. But their investment into officiating is peanuts compared to other sports.

Part of the problem is that we may be getting the lower rated officiating crews since we've sucked for so long.

That's where the bias may be found... ;)

I think this hits the nail on the head for this. Coaches and Players have to prepare for whomever is the refereeing crew for their games. Clete Blakeman's, the one for us today, is generally considered to flag more pass interferences than others. We really are after consistency in officiating, but every person views each play differently. And, when it gets to the crux of it. There could be a penalty called on almost every single play.

Hey... there's more women refs. Diversity is our strength!
    I'm kidding... they're actually OK.

I see every camera in real time during the games I work... replays from every angle.
So many penalties that aren't called... things the refs just can't see on the field.

It's a thankless job... not mine... the refs.

I get that for sure. My best friends brother contracts for NFL network.

But it's that stuff I can see from the couch, and they do show on replays that you can tell the announcers are biting their tongue. It's a fake product. No other sport has this dictatorship lock and step like the NFL.

Because announcers just like reporters are now mouthpieces.
The days of accountability are gone.
Sell Sell Sell. The NFL and owners have too much say over the contracts they have with the broadcasters and have a strong grip on ESPN.
