2022 NFL Week 13 - Around the League

So Jets are still #7 with 5 to play. A shame they couldn’t close the deal today but at least it was an NFC team…..this year the playoffs may come down to which team gets hot at the right time.

 

Both Chargers and Dolphins lost.

L for Chargers. Playoff standings still the same mostly.

 

Chargers lost today, and that's the most important thing. I think 10-7 will get us in, but that means we need to win 3 of the last 5. The Bills game should be a loss, and the Seahawks and Dolphins games will be hard. Though if we're lucky, the Dolphins will be locked into their seed the last week and sit Tua.

 

Dolphins play Chargers next week - leaves some interesting scenarios such as who should we root for exactly? Depending on if the Jets beat the Bills or not it may be better for Miami to win?

Personally I’m hoping Jets win and Dolphins lose …

 

Probably not but they can go on a nice run after that …. Lions, Jax, Seattle. The Jets can beat them ….they just need to keep the standings close and the late games today helped.

 

Ahhh here we are in December with the Jets holding a game lead in the Wild Card and we're talking about other matchups as they related to playoff seeding, not draft picks. Been a while!

 

You're about to wake up in mid-March 2022 and the Jets just traded 2 first round picks for Baker Mayfield.

 

The Jets are in a great position to make the playoffs. The Chargers losing to the Raiders was HUGE.

The Chargers have to play the Dolphins and Titans the next two weeks. Hopefully they lose both games. The Patriots still have to play the Bengals, Dolphins, and Bills.

We might make it at 9-8 but probably make it at 10-7 for sure. Sadly we have to hope the Dolphins win, but it is what it is.

 

That should quell the Fields talk for a week. He's still the best player on that shit team though.

 

You know if we have any chance it's coming down to week 17 against the fins--no other NYJ story makes sense.

 

The Jets moved on from Demario Davis. Twice.

 

They rebuilt like 5 times during his career, no player survives that.

 

Tampa doesn't look even mediocre with Bowles; so much for Arians wanting Bowles to have a good QB for once and he'd show us what a great coach he is.

First, Ingram runs out of bounds to stop the clock BEFORE the 1st down marker....then the QB and coach run a quick slant that is incomplete on 4th and 1 and they don't get the 1st down and the clock stops.
