Tough loss but they played one of the best teams in the league, made great adjustments in the 2nd half and got brutally close to winning. Berrios drop and wish they got a better shot on 4th but honestly not devastated. I'm bummed but encouraged in many ways too Mike White played a great game IMO. Great follow up from.last week. Loved his ability to go down the field more. Pleasant surprise. And Bam Knight is a freaking player I think they have a fair chance against Buffalo
Proud of our Jets. SOJ would have folded down 20-3 and lost by 30. We should have won that game if not for Berrios drop.
Feel bad for the players. Overcame a rough first half and thoroughly outplayed the Vikings in the second half. Too bad their OC has zero idea of how to call offense inside the 20. He left a two score game going in the other direction on the field with some of those mindless play calls.
That was a game where the officiating could very well have affected the winner of the game. Jefferson and Cook are both amazing but I wasn't really impressed enough with that team to feel some shred of hope with a moral victory. The Jets should have beaten that team.
They battled against a 9-2 team. The refs on the NFL, Christ I hope the public starts holding them accountable and stops watching. It's so bad I find myself losing interest in close games with our team. That first quarter it was obvious the refs were going to muck it up and they did. 10-3 after a hogpog of awful calls/no calls and the jets lose by 5. Congrats you just wasted 4 hours of your life. But at the end we were a Berrios drop away from a potential win. He rarely drops so it's just bad timing
Good game. Lot to learn from. Defense is not going to shut down a good team we have to be able to get in the end zone (especially on the goal line). Moore NEEDS to step up. We need him badly. Red zone Conklin and CJ should be eating. We're down to our 3rd (4th?) string RB just sucks we can't punch them in automatically on the goal line.
Lots of positives. But the Braxton Berrios drop was a big disappointment. Overall we did a great job on their receivers.
This is the most competent I've seen them in a loss in a long time. There were mistakes, and the Barrios drop was a kick in the nuts, but overall, this was just two good teams battling it out and one had to lose.
It does. Its a tough loss. But its not a disheartening one. We hung with one of the top teams in the league (by record at least) and had chances to win it. About as good as a loss can be.
I felt that was more a factor of the OL. Looks likes they took a step back with Fant and Mitchell (?) back in there.
Agreed. We should’ve stuck with their backups (not sure if they were injured though) for continuity’s sake. Plus the run blocking looked much better and this is supposed to be a run first offense.
