If you read between the lines during his post game with Jeane Coakley, you didn’t have to be House to figure out that the team doesn’t like Zach.
Truth. And they've always been behind Mike White, even last season. He's clearly bonded with the team and they're thrilled to have him out there. I want to believe that this is a water shed moment that sets this team on a path to making a serious run this season.
After the dust has settled and change has finally been made... It's kind of obvious why this all happened at this point. Elijah made a move because he knew, what everyone else already knew, something had to happen to promote change. I'm not even a little bit mad now after kind of realizing the why of It all... Understanding how all the pieces fit now, the puzzle as a whole of It. Glad Elijah had his day. He was so happy out there and was emotional during the post-game interview. I can tell this Is all important to him. I'm all In on Elijah Moore. Happy for him.
Moore even threw a block today, haha. That made me laugh, but all the laughs I had today were a little bitter. We'll be hanging on by the skin of our teeth for the rest of the season instead of being in a semi-comfortable position because of a Jets showing so typical last week I almost thought for a second they were faking. "Don't dwell in the past, it's not healthy." How and why the Jets lost that game, I'll be dwelling on it on my deathbed. I had to call Carvel and order a Cookie Puss last Sunday night to remind myself I can still laugh at all. See it? Don't be fooled. That's not Cookie O'Puss for St. Patrick's Day. It's that catatonic Jets death stare into nothingness I get after games like that. Lest we forget, before Mike White had that crazy game against the Bengals last year he flopped against guess who? The Cheats. Alright, time for some ice-cream cake.
The biggest Zaque shade was thrown by Wilson17. He was talking about all the things Mike White does and in practice and preparation. It was a clear as day subbbb!
Wilson has officially grown on me. Not that I didn't like him before, but the way he comports himself is like a breath of fresh air. He's really personable and he spreads the credit . . . and the discredit. Sometimes it's not what you do say it's what you don't say. I don't see the team being piranhas in a barrel against Zach Wilson tearing him apart viciously and unfairly. It was a life lesson that you don't shit on the people who didn't make the mistake. Even if ZW only owned that loss with his mouth the words would have meant something. He didn't even go there, he went the other way which was to deflect the blame. I would be pissed off, too.
Since this is solved like when my grandmother was watching Matlock or Columbo how come the thread is still open??? Hmmm
What do you want, 'Murder, She Wrote'? I can do that. That's how I often feel as a fan of this team, I feel like writing about murder . . . and whose. There's usually a lot to choose from on any given roster. Today we're looking pretty good . . . but there's always tomorrow! And next week!
Biggest surprise of 2022 for me so far? Forget the Jets being in playoff contention in December, it's finding out Royal Tee gets down to Hav & P.
Old skool NYC.. Been spinnin since the mid 80's. Do the Smurf, do the Wop, Baseball Bat Rooftop like we bringin' '88 back. and now you know....
That one TD toss attempt towards Garret Wilson that he got his hands on, might have been 3rd or 4th Dow , he had Elijah open.
