I saw that too.. Not once did you see any jubilation out of ZW. Just that 1000yd stare watching his job go away.
I want to chime in too bro but Brook has made clear he's not going for it--you got a lot of support--don't get into it.
Thank you. I also understand what you are saying. Nothing wrong on going back and forth with a poster but what I am against is name calling. Again thanks for your understanding.
Yeah, it definitely wasn't a good look for him. Can't wait to see what White does next week. If he plays well against what will be a far superior than Chicago, then we should ride him the rest of the way and the re-evaluate again in the offseason.
Not one did he pickup the tablet to, did you see Fields on the other sideline he was animated even though not playing and high fiving all his teamates, Zack is like a social outcast, that is not good to be in the Nfl espicially if your the most important position on the team. The fact that he is still collecting more than half a million dollars a game wether he starts or not is repulsive. Your being paid so much money atleast be a team player you dickhead.
Honestly, I'm real tired of folks making excuses for this kid. He's supposed to be a man now. He's paid quite well to do a job only a limited amount of people can do. If he has a setback, he shouldn't pout on the sidelines like he's 12 and had his bike taken away.
A couple of other things along those lines: 1. During the game, did you see White interacting with other players (chatting, back-patting and laughing)? I don't recall Wilson doing much of that when he was starting. 2. Did you see White's press conference? He was humble and VERY careful to spread the credit around to other players. In Wilson's press conferences, he always looked like he's making a hostage tape. 3. Did you hear the other players after the game? Reading between the lines, it sounds like a weight was lifted off their shoulders when Wilson was benched.
Would be incredibly ironic and beautiful if this happened... The Pats beating us and forcing Zach to play so awful that it expedited his benching to ASAP and THAT catapults the rise and great long career of Mike White? Shades of this maybe? Wishful thinking, but man it would be beautiful
Considering I never reported your abusive name calling and you went running to the mods right away, yep I’m sure of it. Have a good day bickety. I’m sure wherever Zach ends up someday will have a fan forum for you.
It's clear Mike White is a legitimate NFL QB and a respected teammate and leader. He plays smart, runs the offense well, looks selfless, supportive and humble yet confident. Honestly, he's light years ahead of Zach, who IMO is so far from being an NFL-caliber QB. He'd have to faceplant hard to lose his job. According to Connor Hughes, the Jets were able to open up their playbook with Mike White, their journey backup QB, because their 2nd overall pick and franchise QB was too limited. We saw this last year when whoever they inserted into the game seemed to go off. Mike White is the guy indefinitely. Let's see if he can make a case to be their starter longer term because Zach has made no such argument in any way.
