What we saw today live on tv was a theft of a highly important position in broad daylight and the others were all witnesses
Douglas has shown to be willing to cut his losses, so I don't believe it'll be any different with Zach. If White continues to perform and the team has his back, he'll be the starter.
I actually see Greenbay…. He loves him, and he’s a little diva ish like him, but he can’t slow the game down the way Rodgers does. The guy plays like there is a cheat code.
Technically, the best thing for the Jets is for the Pats to beat the Bills, but the thought of eliminating the Pats all together is too good to pass up IMO
Nothing wrong with that. Zach can take one more year and see if he can develop properly, like it should have been done from the start
At no time in any of his games has Zach looked anywhere near the level MW got to today or against the Bengals. He throws a catchable ball, he throws it on time, he spreads it around and throws it to the open guy and he throws it with enough zip to get it into tight windows when he needs to. The offense just looks on a different level with MW in there. It functions properly. White will have worse games for sure but I can't see how Zach gets back in short of injury. His time in NY may well be over despite Saleh's comments.
He throws it right to the receivers chest while Zack throws it 2 yards behind or 1 foot to tall for the receiver the catch, Zack has 0 accuracy.
The gameplan today was far different than the ZW kindergarten plans. MLF should be credited with a good gameplan under less than idea conditions. What was the most impressive thing today about MLF was that he wasn't afraid to put the ball in the air for distance even in the rain. That would have never happened with ZW. Must have delved deep into the playbook today.
Mike White did this in full downpour rain. Imagine how much he throws in the dome in Minny. WRs and TEs talent is too good to stop the flow. Don't be suprised to see another 400 yd game this season.
I'll take a little while and want to see some deeper analysis before I agree with this. I don't know how much the playbook was opened up or if it was just run properly off the live game. And if it was dialled back for significantly before how much of that was protecting Zach's weaknesses. Is suspect it is a bit of both to be honest, but the result was sure night and day.
Redemption. It's a long road back for the kid after today. The way white has injected positivity into the team, as well as his performance last year. Shows Zach has a mountain to climb. I felt like we watched a totally different offense. It's a bad look.
We went into NE with zero QB controversy. Now we're coming out of the very next game, and again, zero QB controversy. But we have a different QB, and no injury was involved.
