The Bears still had their two best defensive players before they played that game didn't they? It also didn't help the Pats that they were down double digits early and had to throw all night. I would be shocked if Fields plays this week. 3-8 with a bye week looming and already confirmation that Fields will be their guy for the next few years. No brainer to sit him.
Forecast is calling for rain on Sunday. Was looking forward to this game for great tailgate but looks like it will be shitty weather. Hope the game is a good one.
Mike White is the starter on Sunday. Also, some good news on the injury front, sounds like Corey Davis will be a full participant today at practice, sounds like he's trending to being back on Sunday. Also said they feel really good about Herbig being back on Sunday. Sauce and Quincy will both be limited today but it doesn't sound like it should affect their status for Sunday.
Fields vs White is an edge for the Bears. Everything else? Edge Jets. So it should be interesting. I could see the Bears winning now.

So Fields is playing? Dumb move on the Bears part. A couple of shots from that Jets defense will make his shoulder worse.

Uh yeah he is out this week. Team DRs I’m sure want to keep their jobs …. Not that it matters to the Jets but Fields should be out at the very minimum 2-4 weeks. What sane DR or coach would want to rush your QB back with that kind of injury on a 3-8 team?

Fields running ability scares the hell out of me but the Bears would be crazy to play him. I have not seen a QB take as many hard hits as Fields does every week since Bert Jones. Our defense loves to hit the QB. It would be beyond stupid for the Bears to play him. Outside of the coin the stars are aligning for a Jets win. Corey Davis coming back, Wilson taking a mental health day, no Fields and one angry pissed off Jets team. This could be a rout.
I did not realize he was injured. I just saw he was cleared to practice. I see now that does not mean much. Probably should rest him.
