If there is much more of what has happened the last few games I'm not sure there will be many ways to look at it. The Jets will be QB shopping.
It’s depressing that yet again the Jets fucked up with a QB pick. But let’s look at the bright side — Look at this roster Joe Douglas and Robert Saleh put together. This Jets defense is really really really damn good. The Jets have talent at RB and WR. They legitimately just need a point guard at the helm. A veteran like Jimmy G or Derek Carr turns this team into a Super Bowl contender.
JD and Salah have enough good will on their side that, if they move away from Wilson, the fanbase will accept it and move on. This is the best Jets team in a decade (at least). The defence has allowed 5 TD's in 5 games (which includes 2 games against the Pats, a game against the Bills and a trip to Green Bay). I'm pretty sure everyone would be fine if they hold their hands up and admit they need to try something else. There's no need for them to go down the Tannenbaum-Sanchez route of pretending the QB is awesome.
Our coaching staff seems like they don't want Zack to feel too "threatened", so we'll probably end up signing Mitch Trubisky for cheap. I think Pitt has an out on his 2 year deal so they'll save around $8m if they cut him.
This is a terrible take. You may not like Derek Carr personally, but he is the farthest thing from a cancer that any athlete has ever been. Just try not to say things anymore.
And yes if the Raiders decide to move on from Derek Carr, a team with a good Defense would be the perfect landing spot.
Draft a new middle lb, cut mosley, swing a trade with the packers for rodgers. he becomes the hold-the-fort guy while the jets use the ron wolf method of drafting a qb every year in any round , until they hit on one.
I disagree, one thing that is great about the talent on the roster is that it makes it easy to see if a QB is trash or is good. Zach has this year but that would be it if he continues to be this bad Because the rest of the offensive talent, won't stand idle like what already happened with Moore and Mims

Minshew, he has been shit on but always looked a competent QB at the minimum and he won't be expensive, not sure if on he is a FA next season though?
Didn’t realize Mishnew was decent still after that first year he had. Guess I just paid attention to their record. I’d be open to giving him a shot, but stuff like that always raises some red flags. Why hasn’t anyone else given him an opportunity the last 2 years?

Not feeling D.Carr. Isn’t he the reasons D.Adams went there? Even if they’re down on him I can imagine them drafting a rookie who would play behind Derek for a year
