Not that I fully lost my trust for Zach but we gotta bring in a Vet so that we don't waste the young talent we have on the offensive and defensive side of the ball.

We can't go into next season with Zach being our only viable QB candidate.

Who are your candidates besides Zach and why?

Good chance Raiders cut Carr and draft a QB. I think he’ll be one our targets

    Derek Carr
Raiders will likely draft a QB after their garbage season, so Derek Carr is certainly an option. Have heard that he's not great in cold weather but, would certainly be a big improvement over Wilson

Jimmy Garopolo maybe our old pal Geno Smith.

Watson should’ve been our guy but he screwed himself over with that

Raiders @ Broncos game today was a low scoring affair that Carr won with a walk-off touchdown throw in OT.

He'd be a good choice to hold the fort till we draft another dud QB...

    I like Minshew as well.

Carr's not the answer. Sure--he's better than ZW but he's one of the more frustratingly bad qb's in the league based upon my observations.

Jimmy G seems reasonable--too bad we'll have to pay thru the nose for him--IDK--Cooper Rush?

Lamar Jackson. Work out a S&T for him

Big bad 46-year old Tom Brady. Sweep the Pats and coast to the Superbowl.

I’d take Carr over Garapollo but the easy answer is you back up the Brinks truck for Lamar Jackson.

Marcus Mariota would be a good option. His 2-year deal with the Falcons calls for only a $2.5 million pro-rated bonus next year.

    Ironically another #2 pick.

Now that would make quite an interesting 2023 season.

That may be the route to go for a team like the Jets. Resign Q, draft another stud defender such as OLB or a S, some OL help and go the FA/trade route for a QB. A win now QB because this defense is SB caliber when clicking on all cylinders and especially with another high draft pick added.

All of the above mentioned QBs may be enough to push the Jets over the top next year especially with a healthy Breece.

Not that this season is over of course. I still think the Jets can make the playoffs but I can’t see them getting past KC, Buffalo etc in a winter environment.

Ravens will probably win the super bowl and sign him to a crazy contract.

But he led the team in passing and rushing yards ;)

I did not watch the game but the box score seems to say that there is way more than one problem with this team.

Thank fucking God that I have matured just enough to not let this fucking team ruin my Sundays.

Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

It’s going to be Zach for one more year. It’s hard to swallow, but if they don’t give him three years, no QB will want to be drafted here.
    They probably bring in Minshew.

Carr is the only veteran that makes any sense. He is on record (and maybe it’s emotional team rallying bullshit) as saying he won’t play for any other franchise though.

There’s realistically four first round QB prospects next year.

Hendon Hooker (just tore his ACL)
    Will Levis (huge disappointment)
CJ Stroud (played very well with elite receivers & weak schedule)
    Bryce Young (4’7”…)

We will also likely be competing with at least the Titans if not more teams in a similar situation next year - playoff ready team needing a QB.

    There's actually two problems.

A shitty quarterback and a stubborn coach.

Maybe Arizona might trade Kyler Murray. They could draft his replacement as well.
