pls explain why with the dozens of coaches on the sideline, no one attempted to tell our punter to kick it out of bounds. This loss is on Saleh.
We were going to lose regardless (unless we got a pick 6 or something) - our O wasn’t doing anything. We deserved to lose that game
Saleh completely screwed the last drive by losing 20 seconds and then calling time out before the 3rd down bust play. This totally killed whatever momentum the Jets offense had been able to muster up to that point. You gotta go for the win on the road when facing an impending OT. Playing for the tie on the road more often than not comes back to bite you in the ass.
Saleh didn’t lose this game in the way you think. He should have had streveler out there running it down their throats, or Mike white with the quick outs just to get us a damn field goal. I know you have to be patient with a young QB, but you can’t let the team down this way. Those guys all played their butts off today. I mean offense and defense.
I thought the Jets were managing it perfectly...until they didn't. I loved that they were running the clock down. We had 30 seconds and 2 time outs left. Run the ball for a yard and pick up a first. If you do, call time out, and then you have 28 seconds and 1 time out to try to move 40 yards, and you're not going to lose in regulation barring a miracle (which happened). Instead, they called time out, which I hated, and threw it, which I also hated.
That's a stretch on many levels. Who knows what he was instructed to do. And they should have made the play no matter where they kicked it.
Its time to send Zach a message. Saleh can't keep coddling Zach or he risks a huge division in the lockerroom. Even today, it did look like the Jet WR's were getting pissed at Zach. You could see the frustration after every ridiculous pass.
In regards to the last play(td)? Cmon, the game was lost long before that. We were lucky it was 3-3. They went to the red zone twice, and Mother Nature gifted us 2 missed field goals.
What was the point of moving White up to the number 2 back-up if you're gonna let him sit while Zach is dinking throws to the Invisible Man?
It's like a total slap in the face. I'm sure that is true for many of the Jets players as well. Saleh forgot his primary job today - which was to win the game. It's extraordinarily discouraging when the guy who calls the shots is so blind at a time when real insight is needed instead.
Saleh and staff ready to go down with the ship with Zach Wison I saw highlights of our QBs absurd passing..now I am something between numb , disgusted and depressed So what if Utah boy not better by week 17 Can you imagine the receipts Saleh would have to take then???
let's not forget the delay of game penalty on the field goal. this team is not getting coached up properly. constant mistakes and penalties show that no one respects the head coach, other than good guy stuff. he's losing the wr's with a number of them requesting trades, and soon the defense, if not already.
Watching the post game and Saleh was adamant he's sticking with Zach no matter how bad he plays.. Write off '22 as another training year for Zach even though we could make the playoffs with a competent QB.
