I have to admit that there was a definite part of me that enjoyed being the one heckled today in the stands. This was my first jets game away from the meadowlands and I've been wanting to attend an away game for a while. Being a playoff game made the experience even better. Part of the thrill was just listening to what the Pats fans were saying. They were so disturbingly uncreative and unoriginal that I felt bad for some of them. Here were some of my favorites:

Of course most people heard: J-E-T-S Suck Suck Suck and P-A-T-S Pats Pats Pats

Then there was also "Long Island" heckles and "Go back to New Jersey" (are they kidding, do they think Foxborough is some paradise?)

My personal favorite: "Hey Pennington" (I was wearing a Pennington jersey) "How does it feel to have a quaterback who can only 15 yards" - I swear that some guy said this to me twice within 90 seconds and both times almost pissed himself because he thought it was the funniest thing in the world. I really felt bad for that dude.

There were countless other gems that I'm trying to remember - anybody else have any good ones?

Don't worry...those Patsie fans are like the Bills fans. They're slow cause their brains are frozen. There is no intelligent life other than Jet fans above the Connecticut/Vermont border.

I have no love for opposing team fans, but I've heard a few stinkers from some of our fans as well at home games. After we lost the Bills game, one of the dudes in the stands actually lamented with "You know what JETS stands for? Just Wait Until Next Year" to a bunch of Bills fans. No joke. I was briefly embarassed.

And this is supposed to be a thread about Pat Fan intelligence?

The best line I heard was when pennington was injured and they asked if the Jets wanted Vinny back just to make it fair.

Then there was the analogy of the Jets being like the neighbors dog who tries to hump your leg when you visit. Not a real threat...and a likable poochie, but somewhat a relentless pest.

    Both not bad.

I had a guy tell me the Jets suck suck suck then throw up all over himself and the two guys in front of him lol. He was then dragged out by security.

That's funny. Just made my day. I hope he said/did that early so he missed the game. Sounds like Pats fans just can't handle their booze.

lets face it, there a jerks in every stadium. What I really find offensive is when the other team takes their 8 year old kid and they start lobbing obscenities at the Kids. Real class.

I made efforts to jeer that chant of theirs. I relied on my giant mouth to get a group of jet fans echoing back "FIRST DOWN!" when we got first downs. The pats fans seemed mildly amused. Most of them were alright I guess, there were a good number of assholes though.

I was wearing a Jets Santa Hat and my buddy sitting next to me was wearing a Jets Rahsta hat and literally 4 quarters straight there was a guy sitting behind us who after EVERY SINGLE PLAY said, "hey, I like your hat!" I'm telling you every play. If i didnt hate the Patriots before, i certainly do now, with a passion.

Is that why half of the Jets fans in the stadium yesterday got out of new jersey and came to school in boston to get a real education.

I'd bet that most of those Harvard students aren't football fans, thus why they're not intelligent FANS. Read again, before you get a chuckle.
