    Can you enlighten me on Unit value? My weekly allowance is $50. Does that mean my U=$50?

    Today I won $22 thanks to Giants. So my overall is minus $131 for the year. My typical parlay is for $5.

    So how many units am I down?

    Unit value is how much you place per bet to essentially limit losses.

    My units are $25 per bet. So every bet I make I put increments of $25. For bigger parlays I put .5 unit, so $12.50

    NYJ laid it out. Your typical bet is a unit. I usually roll $30 to $40 per bet so that’s my unit. You hear that across betting podcasts and the betting community cause everyone’s is different.

    I’d guess (based on what you post), a unit for you is around $5.
