Feels like we've turned the corner!

Josh Allen was a few feet away from the jersey grab on Sauce.
Whether Sauce could have caught Allen is debatable... but I'm not sure that dictates if it's a penalty or not.

I don't think it's a big deal... mostly because we won the game... but those penalties get called on us all the time.
Look at the picture... Allen is #17.

 

So I think at this point it is a forgone conclusion that the Jets are on Hard Knocks 2023.

 

If both Jets and Giants make playoffs this year, I think week 1 Sunday Night Football might be Giants hosting the Jets at Metlife. If not opening week, I expect this to be either a Sunday Night game or a Monday night game.

 

The problem with turning the corner is that there's always another corner...

 

Turn the corner four times and you end up where you started.

According to the NFL rule book, it is not an offensive holding penalty:

"if the action occurs away from the point of attack and not within close line play"

From the image above, the holding was rather close to the point of attack, so it most likely should have been a penalty. And if it wasn't close to the point of attack, why would the Bills lineman even bother to hold Sauce? When viewed from a common sense standpoint, it was a missed call.

 

Hughes roots for the other team that plays in MetLife, but yeah, he’s very annoying.
