more like what he didn't. which was produce even 1 yard or make 1 catch or make 1 good block on a run play. he played 45% of snaps too. berrios and smith played less and each at least recorded a catch

saleh's game management has been night and day compared to gase and bowles. gase isn't in the NFL and bowles is still bad in TB.

So he is a dud because hw played exactly the role MLF designed for him and wasn't targeted once? Not a valid assessment in my opinion

he wasn't getting open. GW had no issues getting open. IDK if he's half assing it or what but he isn't the player he was last year. you know he was benched last game for not wanting to block? mims is out there trying, moore isn't. that makes him a dud in my book.

People here have shown videos of Moore open. The routes designed for him are more decoys than targets. I never heard of him not wanting to block. Also Mims is doing a lot more than just trying. He is a solid contributor.

Pretty hard for a guy to make a reception or produce a yard if he's not targeted at all. But it's your list so go ahead and expose your bias against the guy.

It was an unsubstantiated rumour during his 'I want to be traded' week.

Moore is like 5'8 110 lbs with a bra on. Even if he wanted to block he's not gonna do much. He's here to catch passes not block. Throw him the ball

lol how am I biased against a guy who I've done nothing but speak highly of since his rookie year? he'd get targeted if he created more separation. the effort isn't there on film, so he's losing snaps to less talented players putting in more effort. until he actually puts the effort in on field like he did last year, he is a dud. that simple.his behavior has had a negative impact on the team as a whole

He needs to toughen up is he's going to play in this offense. If it was good enough for Mims then it's good enough for Elijah.

That's already been answered, we're not talking about anything since his rookie year, but his performance in one game. A number of responses have already pointed out that Moore was open on a number of his routes, but you have still seen fit to blame his lack of targets on his "not getting open." Now you claim his "effort isn't there on film." You also claim he was benched for "not wanting to block" without a shred of evidence. You can believe all the but when you start passing off your opinion as the one that matters as the self appointed studs and duds czar, my opinion is you've gone too far, especially when you blame it on "a shit attitude weeks ago." Again, the title states "Week 9."

where is your proof he's open all the time? see how it works. there is a reason you are regarded as the worst poster here :) haven't I already embarrassed you enough

    PFF grade
    2021 71.2 above average
    2022 57.2 below average

this site tracks a little more as well
    https://www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/elijah-moore/
separation in man is the important one
    2021 1.65 yards leading to a 24.9% target rate
    2022 1.17 yards leading to a 10.6 target rate

even if we don't scheme him open he has opportunities. he's just not getting it done. if he could gain more separation he'd get double the targets. an extra half a yard is huge in NFL terms especially to an NFL QB

    now look at garrett wilson
    PFF grade 76.9
1.82 separation yards leading to a 30.2% target rate

Moore in 2021 looked amazing. moore in 2022 looks like he's half assing it out there. now are you done embarrassing yourself yet again? who am I kidding. of course not :)

I never claimed he was open all the time - why would you make such shit up?

You may consider me anything you want to but spare the hubris that you believe allows you to speak for the entire board.

You are now putting statistics and grades up for two years of play to support your subjective review of one player in a single game - do you not see the inconsistency there?

NEWS FLASH - The performance of Garrett Wilson has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on the single game performance of Elijah Moore - why would you include it? The more you write the farther you get away from supporting your grade for Moore in the Buffalo game.

Perhaps you should start over in attempting to justify the one game "dud" rating for a receiver who got no targets, or just accept the fact that not everyone needs to agree with you.

if i'm a QB and 1 guy is open and another isn't guess who i'm throwing to? my stats prove moore isn't getting open like he was last year. which was my point. and less you are open, the less you get the ball. if a guy who was a stud almost every game last year for me is now a dud, why in the world would that be personal bias? I love moore, he has the talent to be a top tier WR in the NFL, but right now he isn't doing it. your claims of personal bias are a joke just like you buddy :) have a good day, i'll chalk it up to another embarrass moment on your part i stopped counting after about 2 dozen though

i'm not saying he never gets open but I posted his numbers and film says they are way down from last year across the board (separation and PFF grade not stats)
there was 1 game the one he came back from after the game he got sit for requesting a trade and he had a blocking assignment early on and he didn't bother to really do it and the play got blown up so he only got 10 snaps that game in favor of mims who was fighting his ass off every play. he cost himself snaps with lack of effort.
there is also if he half asses a route because he knows the ball isn't coming his way (say on a screen) so the DB reads it and leaves him to blow up the screen he looks open in a picture.

Did you see the metcalf fake? that is what a WR should be doing when his number isn't called, moore isn't putting in that effort because he's upset about his usage so it becomes a bad cycle

if moore was doing this on plays not for him, he'd get more snaps and catches

Apparently there s some talk now that on a couple of occasions he did not run the proper route and or altered his route causing Zach in one instance not to get the rushing TD because he abandoned his route and the CB stopped pursuing him. Something is going on we don’t know the details to. If that’s the case I don’t blame MLF, but it’s almost impossible for us to tell by simply watching the game without knowing the play.

Of course the QB throws to the guy who is open...in theory. The Jets have a starting quarterback who has not demonstrated he has honed the ability to consistently identify those guys. But we're not grading the quarterback - we're grading the receiver - one receiver for one game. It's your list so you can grade him for whatever you want to, but if the guy is invisible to the eyes watching the game and invisible in the stats there's no reason to put him on either side of the studs and duds list, especially when nobody on this board knows what route anyone is supposed to be running and who is the prime receiver and who is a decoy.

This discussion seems to be over and other than a nebulous claim that Moore did not get open in the Buffalo game, which others have denied, you have not supported your reason for putting him on the down side of your list although you wrote a lot about other players, other seasons, and an attitude weeks ago all things totally irrelevant to last Sunday's game.

I would note that you felt the need to make a juvenile personal attack when the discussion wasn't going your way. That's weak and says so much more about you than me.

Elijah Moore was so damn good against the Bills that they're moving him to the slot position.

Even a non-"self appointed studs and duds czar" can see the wisdom in that...

Clemons. Plays with that nonstop motor and nasty in almost every game I've seen him. Having a good rookie season. Solid draft pick by JD.
